UCSF Aldea Center on Mount Sutro

Great place to meet and have a party especially if you’re a resident of the Ucsf Aldea apartments. The reservation system is pretty easy and is done online, but it’s only free if you live in campus housing.
The space is pretty open and inviting with a large lcd tv on one end and a fireplace on the other. If hosting a party, they can accommodate around 50 people… well that’s how much table space is allowed with their standard set up. They also have a kitchen to cook and prepare food, you just need to bring your own supplies and utensils.
The space is nice and airy and it’s especially nice when there’s no fog. It’s also green in the sense that it’s partially powered by a solar array on the roof so you can feel good about that.
Overall, this is a great benefit to have for UCSF residents and a great way to entertain friends and guests for parties and holidays… but book early if you do!

Excellent conference venue — can accommodate about 80 comfortably theater-​style. Nice outdoor deck access, kitchen and AV. Limited parking, but UCSF runs shuttle from Parnassus up the hill.
