Clam chowder Chicken club Cranberry turkey I’m very surprised by how good this was. My cranberry turkey sandwich was really one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Really moist, good amount of cranberry — just perfect. The clam chowder was very good. Rich and creamy, and just enough clamminess… Hubby had the chicken club — looked good. I definitely want to go back for that turkey sandwich again. Service… a little odd. This was our first time here, so once we ordered, we weren’t sure if we were supposed to just seat ourselves. We didn’t get a table number or anything, so how would they know who to bring the food to? Turns out, the server will come get your receipt and then bring your food. Our server wasn’t the friendliest and didn’t want to talk more than she had to, which is fine. No smiles. Ah well. At least the food was good.

Food is average and a bit expensive for a café. The service is really fast, restaurant is pretty big and clean. I’ll probably come back if no other option in the area.

What a great place in Stonestown Mall! Our friend suggested we meet here so I got there a little early. It’s a huge restaurant with tons of tables and booths. You have to order at a counter first, and then you seat yourself. A server will come to you, check your receipt and then bring the food/drinks to you. I was impressed at what a nice café this was. Quiet, clean, comfortable. I ordered a french dip sandwich and it was FABULOUS. Great service, great food, great place to meet up with friends. A hidden gem in a very busy and crowded city!

I have been here for years and I never reeally thought about writing a review but i feel like i have to after my experience with the customer service today. This place is a great place to grab lunch or dinner and the food is consistently good. However, definitely 5 stars for the service given to our waiter Oliver. It’s a busy day for him but he is giving his best service to all the customers with such a great attitude and smile. Good food + Great service = priceless

I read a lot of good things about this place. I was able to stop by for lunch with a friend and I got the mushroom ravioli, whereas my friend got the tomato chicken alfredo. We also both got a cup of their basil tomato soup. Food was delicious! I would definitely come back for more. Service is really on point here, but then because of the way they do their ordering, I’d be very upset if service wasn’t as attentive as it was. So basically you come in, grab a tray like cafeteria style and order your food then pay. The waitstaff bring the food out to you and that’s about it. Other than refilling your water/plantation ice tea, they just clean your table when you’re done. Décor is warm and welcoming and it’s a good place to go for lunch with your friends or a business lunch as it’s a little more elegant than casual dining, but not as fancy as fine dining. They are located in both the older and newer Nordstrom in Ala Moana but the older one will be closing on March 6th2016. They will be opening another restaurant in the new Nordstrom as well, though I forgot what the name is.

Recently came here with a few friends and I have to admit I’m a huge fan of this place. I ordered the chicken cilantro salad and it was pretty good. I don’t normally have any favorite salads, but this might be my favorite one! The dressing isn’t too overpowering and you can taste a hint of cilantro. The portions were also pretty big. My friends ordered the Asian chicken salad and grilled cheese. Both looked pretty good but I didn’t try them. The service was pretty good and our server gave us a free cookie! Overall pretty good experience and I will be returning for that salad!

Love this place! I didn’t know they’re named Marketplace café now?(What happened to the simple Nordstrom Café? Haha.) I love this place for their salads(Chinese Chicken Salad and Cilantro Lime Chicken are a few of my/bf/bff’s favorites). Their pastas are yummy too, one of my favorites being the Spicy Shrimp & Angel Hair Pasta… jumbo sized shrimp on wonderfully spiced and flavorful tomato-based angel hair pasta! Of their specialty dishes, I love their Tuscany Roasted Salmon; salmon is cooked SO moist and flakey, served with potatoes and huge chunks of roasted vegetables! Service has always been pleasant, with complimentary chocolate mints at the end. This place is a great casual yet wonderful dining experience; I’ve also seen people come here with laptops to get some work or studying done, too! I come here not only while I’m conveniently shopping at the mall, but also when I’m not shopping and is just craving a simple and delicious meal!

This is by far my favorite Nordstrom Café. If you’re looking for one with more options, the one in Westfield Mall downtown is the place to go since it is an actual restaurant. I like to go to this one because you don’t have to wait. You just order at the register and they bring your food to you. It’s located at the bottom floor near kid’s clothes and lingerie. They close around 7pm. My favorites here are the chinese chicken salad, chicken caesar salad, and the angel hair pasta with salmon and asparagus(which has unfortunately been discontinued since last year… *cries*). I never crave pasta and don’t really like it, but that angel hair pasta was one of the few exceptions. It was SO good. They occasionally have it as their weekly special nowadays but I wish they still had it on the menu! The chinese chicken salad has the perfect balance of dressing, vegetables, and lettuce — it’s my favorite here. You can also order a half order of their salads, just in case you just want it as a side for your main meal. They always offer you bread while you wait. You either get the typical sourdough or you might be lucky and get these crispy cheesy breads that are delish! Complimentary mint chocolates at the end of your meal! I like how you pay ahead of time so once you finish eating, you don’t have to worry about flagging down a waiter for the check and you can just leave.

On the bottom floor of Nordstrom’s in the Stonestown Mall lies this little café with lots of options to chose from after a hard day or night of shopping. I love the salmon, it’s consistently great and the tomato soup with crostini breads are delicious! Love Nordstrom’s store and a long time customer. They do a great job with their cafes, too. The downtown Nordstrom Bistro in Union Square is great, too! Excellent service! Been here so many times and finally getting around to writing a review. Always a casual and friendly dining experience.

Love this place for a quick stop while shopping instead of mall food. There are lots of older people who are regulars and staffed nice but lacks some customer service skills compared to all other Nords restaurants/cafes. They really need help with no regulars or regulars besides old ladies who are treated like queens which is great but hello treat the fresh blood well so we want to come back when we are old okay?!? My portion of food today was ridiculous small for a special I have had at other locations. It’s about half the size of the downtown restaurant which is super fabulous and classy compared to this. It makes this seem like Denny’s.

I often enjoy a quick lunch here. Service is excellent and fast. And the food is great! Natural and organic ingredients. Today I enjoyed the Grilled Shrimp Arugula Salad with Sweet Corn and Warm Polenta Croutons. It was delicious! Perfectly grilled shrimp and amazing flavor combination. My mouth is watering now. Nordstrom’s Marketplace Café is always a good choice when in the area.

I’ve been going here since I was a little kid, so this review might be biased. Every time I go here, I get nostalgic thinking about the days when my mom would take me shopping and we’d eat here for lunch. To this day, I still think Nordstrom’s café is a great option for delicious food at Stonestown. It’s usually my go-to when I don’t want to have food court food and I’m craving something healthier. Their cilantro lime chicken salad is one of my favorite salads, maybe ever. I just wish it was a little bigger! When I want something more filling, I get the chicken tomato alfredo. Honestly that could also be bigger, but maybe my stomach is just bottomless? My whole family loves the tomato soup here, and the BEST treat for kids and adults alike is the little Makers chocolates they give with the check. They have great service, too — during my most recent trip, I found a hair in my pasta, so I sent it back. My waitress was apologetic and helpful. It may have been because they were close to closing, but they gave me 2 soups(one of each) to compensate :) The biggest downside for me is their hours — I wish they stayed open later so I could eat there more!

We eat here probably at least once a month. The long and short of it is that this place is just kid friendly and it’s always easy to come here and not worry if our children are going to create a potentially embarrassing situation for us. Of course they always do, but at least you can find solace that the staff and other patrons are more than willing to tolerate them. Food is OK. The menu always seems to go through some permutation and something you may have liked gets replaced.

Went for breakfast/lunch. This is a nice find in the stones town mall. The place is quiet and the cashier was very nice in helping us choose our meal. You order in front and they bring the food to you after you cost your own seating. I got the traditional breakfast. Eggs bacon toast. It was as expected. It included some grapes and one strawberry which I thought was pitiful. Also it had four pieces of potatoes. I wish they had included more because it was cooked quite well. My friend had the shrimp pasta. The shrimp were huge! It definitely looked good. Overall a very decent experience. They have huge cookies and muffins in the front that are reasonably priced. I will be back to try more!

This is a great spot, I think they actually have it out front now. But I would always get California chicken BLT. Price was higher, but the food was great and the staff was friendly.

I’m writing this review EVENBEFORE I got my food. I remember coming here as a kid and the dining experience here has gone downhill at a rapid pace. Maybe they can’t handle the overwhelming weekend crowd, who knows? Get the right help! My water had an unbelievably good amount of oil on the top layer of my water. The soda I ordered was flatter than my brothers chest so I also had to send that back. Our server was forgetful and slow. Food takes a lot longer than usual on weekends as well. 25 minutes and counting for a soup and a salad. Service alone was enough to help decide for us that this was our final visit to this place. Goodbye childhood mall café, it was good while it lasted. If only time didn’t change the café experience but I must now accept the inevitable.

I ordered pasta and it was a little better than warm but I suspect it was sitting at the kitchen for a bit before it got to me. My suspicion is reinforced by the fact that my coffee refills were slow and the honey we requested never came. Food is good and the place is comfy for a nice sit down eating experience. I do like the place even though the service is inconsistent.

This little gem is tucked on the lower level of the Nordstrom at the Stonestown Galleria. I have only started going recently after trying some of their selections from the menu. It’s a nice little café with lots of seating. You order at the front, pay, & choose where you want to sit. The servers will then bring your food to your table once ready. Their menu is small but has lots of variety. From soups to salads to pastas and entrees. All sound quite delicious actually. What I Ordered: * Nicoise Salad w/Roasted Salmon: My ultimate favorite! Lots of fresh ingredients(roasted potatoes, capers, red onion, cherry tomato, haricot verts, & mixed greens). I love the dijon balsamic vinaigrette too! Sweet, tangy, & spicy. * Fuji Apple and Chicken Salad: Very clean tasting and light. Crisp apples, lots of chicken chunks, & a light champagne vinaigrette. Perfect on a warm day. Food has always been consistent. Service is excellent. It’s a nice place to rest after a day of shopping. The servers are always nice too… especially Arlene:)

Food is always consistent, excellent customer service, and a more pleasant atmosphere than the outside mall food court. Must order the tomato bisque soup every time!

I would go here if i am not in the mood for food court. Its located at the lower of Nordstrom store. Whenever i go here, the food is always consistent which allow me to enjoy my food. You have to pay at the cashier first if you decided to to dine in after you decide what you want to eat and sit wherever you want. The waiter or waitress would come to you and check your receipt to see what food you get so they can get your food. They usually bring your food out within 10 minutes if its not busy. I usually get the angel hair pasta with salmon and asparagus or braise pot roast beef with egg noodle. Of course whenever you order pasta, its usually over $ 10. Its the average price for this restaurant. Its always have plenty of flavor and enough to get you full. They usually give you candy once they bring your receipt back. Very clean and spacious. Friendly staffs. Like i mention in the tip, this place closes at 7:30 pm instead of 7 on weekday

I love all of the Nordstrom Cafés; this one however, is the best. The waitstaff is very friendly and helpful. Before I could even ask, a lady was at our table with water and breadsticks. I ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad and a glass of Sparkling Wine. Both were delicious. Just enough sweetness and crispness in the salad, without being overly drenched in dressing. So far, everything I’ve ever ordered here has been delicious. The dining area is large enough to always find seating and the noise level is pleasant. I recommend stopping here to rest your weary shopping feet, while getting a delicious bite to eat. Now, the shopping continues…

In terms of a café located in a mall, this is the best experience I’ve had. Most notably the tomato basil soup is excellent. It is served with delicious crispy crostinis for dipping. I would also recommend the salmon asparagus angel hair pasta as well, very tasty. On top of having the best mall food, the atmosphere is pleasant enough to sit down and enjoy your lunch without crazed shoppers smacking their shopping bags into you in a crowded eating court. Lastly, the service is outstanding. You are always served with a smile, and in a timely manner. Bottom line: Eat here when you are in stonestown.

7÷28÷13 Late Lunch I dread coming to Stonestown. Food options are bad. I’m neither a fan of food court dining nor Olive Garden. Boudin is a gluten nightmare. For a mall of decent size in the city, Stonestown really is a shame in terms of food and stores selection. But… There is a gem. It’s hidden on Level 1 of Nordstrom. The café is called such because unlike Nordstrom Bistro at Westfield SF Shopping Center, you have to order food up at the counter. They will give you a check after you pay and server will bring you the food and beverages. That works for me. Dining room is a little dark but very clean. It reminds me of a hotel lobby. Compared to the fastfood at the food court, Nordstrom Café serves simple and healthier options. *French Dip($ 10.75): warm roast beef, tender and pink inside, with melted white cheddar and garlic aioli. Beef is of good quality, not dry or stringy. The baguette could be more toasty but it was warm. Served with crafted chips. *Blue Cheese and Chicken salad($ 12.75): I requested the salad sans blue cheese. This is to me the staple item at Nordstrom. Pears, candied walnuts and dried cherries are my favorite ingredients in a salad. The staff is efficient is very friendly. They come by and check on us. For a semi-service café in a casual setting, Nordstrom has rally set the bar high.
