RIP I just killed the club. They shutdown but I had some decent times here. Not bad — music was smacking, drinks were watery(but what club actually has good drinks?). Crowd was chill too. I’d go for other clubs around SF before this one again(not like I could choose this place again because they shutdown for good), but that’s besides the point. Essentially, Manor wasn’t the worst place to spend a Saturday night, but I’m not losing sleep over them shutting their doors.

If your gut is tell you don’t go to a place you probably should listen. As with most clubs in the area including Temple, Sloan, Mr. Smiths and Holy Cow this place just leaves too much to be desired. This is the saddest review to write because everything about the club seems like it would be so good. The décor is amazing, a cool oldschool art vibe and there is a decent amount of room on the dancefloor. The VIP tables are elevated and off the dance floor which is great and there isn’t a ton of foot traffic on the dancefloor. However it’s the actually fun that the place is lacking. I am very used to the club setup and scene so as a guy you need to be smart and show up around 10:15 to try to get into the club before the guestlist and even then if you don’t have a female you might to pay cover. We made it in with no issues and it was 4th of July weekend. The club took a long time to fill and it never got too crowded. Usually I would love for this but this place needed more people and more people that were willing to dance. Honestly that was the biggest travesty about this place. The music was AMAZING. If you like hip hop and just want to dance to a great DJ mix this place is one of the best. The set was filled with hip hop from all years from 2000-current hits. It didn’t matter thought because no one was dancing. I have never seen anything like it. The dance floor was filled with people but they were all literally standing around looking at each other trying to look cool. Posing and being cool is all well and good but when no one will even move off the wall for fear on not being cool there is a problem. It was such a wasted music setup. The people there were awful. Every seemed upset and were also upset with anyone else having fun. I don’t know why people go out to clubs anymore. Maybe the clientele changes over different weekends but there people seemed like regulars which is even more disappointing. The drinks were nothing to write to Unilocal about they weren’t that strong and were the usual SF range of 8 – 14 dollars. There is also a huge problem with smoking here. They completely overlook the regulations and people smoke weed all over the place. Its suffocating and you are guaranteed a contact high. Ultimately San Francisco just doesn’t have the people and culture to support hip hop here. I have tried to give it a chance at so many places but either the clientele ruins it or the venue ruins it. It gets a star for the venue and a star for the legit music. Oakland is the only place to go for hip hop dancing in the bay area for anyone seriously looking for it. Manor West was my last beacon of hope for hip hop in SF and a titantic just crashed into that light house.

This place is runned by people who are on drugs!!! I placed an order at the bar and they couldn’t even remember what drink I placed! This place went down hill, not even worth coming out to now!

Came on a Friday night to celebrate with my friends before graduating from college the next day. I actually didn’t have a problem trying getting in compared to other reviewers, and the bouncers didn’t give me any problems. I came in around 10:30 and it was practically empty but a little around 11 the place started getting crazy filled up. It’s a small venue and doesn’t really compare to other clubs I’ve gone to. Drinks were also watered downed though which is why I’m also taking off 1 star! I’ve never seen so much ice been put in my drink right before my eyes! But I admit a lot of good hip hop r&b songs played all night, so whoever was DJing that night, props to him!!! I did have a really fun time, but if you wanna compare this club to others around the city, it’s not the best.

As usual, their shady system that has a free guestlist by 10:30, but they don’t open doors until 10:15 and then kick all of the guys out of line unless there is a 1 to 1 ratio. When asking the bouncer if that is the rule all night he gives me some statement that they always have this ratio and that tonight is going to be a crowded night. Really? I’ve been here before and knew this guy was lying and just wanted the dudes to pay cover. All we wanted to do was go inside for a friends birthday and didn’t matter if we had to pay, but according to him tonight was going to be one of the busiest nights ever. To our surprise we wait about 15 minutes and go back in line and they let us in no problem. Don’t kick us out of line, lie about why, and then let us back in. If you’re going to make up an excuse the first time keep your word. I’ll never be back. This club is old and dying and I don’t know why they would turn away customers when there are many better clubs to go to.

SERVICE — Of course they would hold up the line for an empty club so that you have to pay cover -/+ Really strict about having too many guys OTHER + Good mix of ratchet /top 40 /EDM + Redesigned the location of the DJ booth to have a bigger dance floor + Roped off VIP section If I wanted to listen to rap /hip hop, I’d probably just go to a bar on Mission so that I don’t have to get all dressed up for the club

This is the most racist venue I’ve ever been to. I had two Asian guy friends who tried to get in and the bouncers in line was pulling them out of line every time they were getting close to the front(even if they we’re ready to pay $ 40 to the bouncer who demanded the bribe and the actual venue who requested $ 20). I’ve never received this kind of treatment and it sucked that we thought this was a great venue for us to celebrate a friend’s birthday. I’m so disappointed I won’t be recommending this racist venue to anyone.

The pictures are deceiving. This is one of the worst lounges that I’ve been to. I came and it was empty and then it was full of people but guess what? Everyone started to realize how lame the music and the club is. The alcohol couldn’t even carry me through the night. Here I am, half drunk, and writing this damn review. It’s 1:30am and I want to leave. I could drink more to make the place seem more fun but why would I lie to myself? I just want to leave and get some phở.

I planned my law school graduation party at Manor West. Prior to and during the event I had a decent experience. I ordered bottle service and that is where the hassle came from which is completely contradictory to the purpose of «VIP Service.» Their bottle service policy once I arrived and had a credit card policy was that they would not serve me until I ordered and paid for all of my bottles. My server was not very clear and did not seem very competent. In fact, she would not return my license and credit card to me despite having another credit card and ID on file. To this end, I have now been without both my license and credit card for four plus days with no hope of obtaining either. My server never returned it to me and all of the management and club staff have been completely unresponsive to me now that they have their money. This whole experience has left me with a completely negative experience due to their lack of appreciation for their customers and in particular their«VIP» customers celebrating a special occasion.

I was there a while ago. they rejected us because there’s a guy/girl ratio. if in fact that’s one of the rules of entry then that rule should be advertised! So that you Don’t make me waste my time and money and effort going there. I will now trash talk your business on every social media and word of mouth. Thank you for wasting my time.

Never had been to this club before so I decide to go for my birthday. Upon arrival the bouncer told my boyfriend he couldn’t get in because of his Nikes. Which is completely fine because he should have known better. However the bouncer felt the need to ridicule him and be a complete a** about it. Thus, we ended up going to Origin instead. So if you’re looking to have your club ensemble patronized this is the place. Never been to this club and probably never will.

It’s a given that clubs anywhere will get a low rating due to the nature of their business, but Manor West takes the cake in terms of poor nightlife experience. I was so excited to find a club in SF that didn’t blast EDM. I thought that«Get Low» blasting as my friends and I walked in was a good sign, but nope! The DJ would transition every time the beat was about to drop. The crowd is mean and rude. Even when I walked by and said, «excuse me» nicely, someone would giggle obnoxiously and say snarkily, «yea, excuse you!» Yea. THAT kind of crowd. Bouncers are rude and power tripping. I won’t be back.

I don’t hate or love this place. It is neither here nor there for me. The place plays hip hop, R&B, a little pop, and very little EDM. I came here for my cousin’s birthday and I had a blast. If you put yourself on the guestlist and get there before 11 then you can get in for free. I was a little worried prior to coming here because I had read all the negative reviews, but the place is actually pretty fun. The drinks are a little inconsistent. Some bartenders are really stingy with their pours, where others are heavy handed. Overall, not too bad of an experience, but I would only go back for someone’s birthday or party. Not a place I would think of first off the bat.

Worst club I have ever been to. Had a table left to the DJ booth she pushed my whole drink off the ledge onto me and laughed about it. Who does that? Sketchy people and tense environment. Total let down and waste of bottles!

I rarely go to nightclubs, but Friday 11÷7÷14 was an exception. One of my friends was hosting and she insisted I come along. So with that comes special perks, the VIP area with table and bottle service. I have to say I was impressed with the attention to detail our waitress showed. Although I did not catch her name. She was very attentive and the drinks just kept flowing all evening. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the size of the club overall is small and I still had to walk across to use the restroom. It would be great if they had a restroom just for the VIP area. Wouldn’t that be a great idea! I would never have to leave the VIP area at all. Haha!

Like most clubs they hold the line even when no one is in. They have a guy to girl ratio which i understand helps make the club seem better. If you come in as a pack of dudes forget about coming in there late. They mostly play hip hop which is cool décor is ok. Set up of the club is a long narrow hall way. They try to have huge area for bottle service but it doesnt work. Security is where they earn the 1 star. I get in line at 10pm, security informs me that i need to tuck my shirt in. I am wear a short sleeve collar shirt its meant to be untucked by the length alone you should know that. Well actually the security guy was huge he probably cant fit a regular shirt anyways. My friend shows up close to guest list cut off time and magically there is no guest list for the b day girl. The b day girl purchased a bottle so how can she not have a list. When i walked in 20 mins before i was on the list. I walk inside to see guys in t shirts and fake ass chains out. I saw a guy wearing a snap cap. I see a couple of guys who are wearing tennis shoes. Makes no sense to me. Better venue to spend your money. Crowd is decent looking more the women are in dresses and skirts. Mixed crowd. But place does smell and it does get pretty full in capacity.

No matter how many times I return to this venue, I can’t seem to enjoy it. Other than being a nice venue, the service is crap! The restrooms are always dirty and the broken toilet in the woman’s restroom still hasn’t been fixed after 4 months. Unless you like music from the early 2000s, the music is played out and the crowd is extremely ghetto(not something I would expect to see in SF) The Bouncers are terribly rude. They seem to hate their job and life and abuse their power. Hot or not, they will overcharge you or take what they can. Bottle service will always screw you over! Watch out for the ladies working out front holding the clipboards like they run the world! No matter what they quote to you in advance, they will charge you even more when you arrive. All they care about is getting paid and not providing the service. They even forgot to return our credit card! It took a week to retrieve it… And the bottle service next to the DJ booth smells like sweaty feet… **Friends and I have confirmed that we will never return to this place and this should be the last resort of any nightclubs in the city.

I recently celebrated my birthday here by getting a table with two bottles. That was the minimum for that Saturday night and you could get 10 people in with those bottles. The rate was 2 bottles for $ 500 before tax and tip. With the tax and tip, it came out to be about $ 675. It’s not cheap but it’s not that expensive compared to many other clubs in SF. In addition, the staff definitely took care of things and made sure we got what we needed throughout the night. I cannot complain about how they treated us. My group had a great time! For my friends who got in through the regular line, they had some trouble because of the guy girl ratio. That was a bit of a pain because some of my friends couldn’t get in for a while. I get what they’re trying to do with that but it’s also annoying when you have to wait for more girls to come in order to get in. The cover fee is $ 20 after 11:00PM. If you come before 11:00PM and you’re on guest list, you will get in free. There’s two bars inside this place. The décor is nice with some drapes. You can also go down a long hallway to the front to get to the smoking area. But finally, why I am also giving this place 5 stars is because sometimes the warriors come here! I went to my friend’s birthday party in November and her bottle service table was right next to two of the warriors. That made our night. You never know who you’ll see here!

The venue is a nice place. Good floor plan and décor. Bouncers are always cordial. I gave this place a 4 because we got bottle service and the wait time to get our bottles was ridiculous. We were inside the club for about 20 minutes before our server gave us the bottles. Some of our party left the table to buy drinks at the bar because we were waiting for awhile. Security also need to regulate the tables that are on the floor. It blended with the dance floor and anyone can walk through without security checking wristbands. The music is good and I’ve always had a good time here.
