Both the Currywurst and Chilean dog are delicious served with a nicely toasted bun. Satisfying street cart fare. Check it out!

Just tried King of Currywurst for the 1st time since they were nice enough to come down and serve lunch near Virgin America’s HQ in Burlingame and it was AMAZING! I actually had the Currywurst itself and the savory flavor had the perfect amount of spice. My only suggestion would be to drop the useless roll and add more currywurst. Other than that, I have no complaints. Definitely worth a try, especially if you’re vegetarian!

found the king of currywurst cart(across from the car wash) but took off when i saw the meter man coming. not much legal parking here. sampling: currywurst(5.25) –sliced sausage with a dinner roll and home made ketchup. –meat was coarse tasting and dry. –maybe only 10 slices, so dog is small –not sure how«hog dog» is different from currywurst. –this currywurst seems similar to one at spisekammer(didn’t like that one either) takeouts: –probably vegan chilean dog may be better. –pictures would have been helpful. chilean dog is pictured, not the others.

On my way shopping in the Haight I decided to stop by the King of Currywurst. I’ve had the currywurst many times and love it – the slightly sweet spicy tomato-curry sauce is the perfect compliment to the sausage — but yesterday decided to step out of my routine and try the Chilean Hot Dog. It was well worth a try! The guacamole and diced tomatoes gave the hot dog a fresh, cooling quality and the garlic aoli… well, I could have eaten a bun full of that on its own.

This tasty dog went down smooth. I had to get a car wash today and I saw the cart across the street. The guac, chopped tomatoes, and garlic aioli sauce are made fresh everyday. Being a vegetarian is tough when you love hotdogs, but glad to see this cart move in to the neighborhood to get my Chilean Hot Dog fix. Enjoy.
