Delicious breakfast options including the duck confit benedict, chicken and waffles, and huevos rancheros with green chile. Yum! Awesome wait crew as well.

This little café was the bees neez! The beignets are delicious! They are huge and if you intend on eating after them then don’t eat a lot! Lol This café is quaint, very friendly staff and a hip, trendy total SF vibe… Loved it!

Found this place for breakfast due to great reviews. I concur. Love the atmosphere and delicious food. Started out with the Beignets… You get 3 huge ones so prepare to share… or make it a meal. Your choice. Next i had the«Frittata of the Decade». I opted for no onion but i think the spinach overpowered the zucchini, which is my favorite ingredient. Still good, but would customize this one a but more in the future. Great potatoes and the scone was so-so. Tasted like they heated it too long in the microwave to be honest. My friend had the raisin toast and that was much better. Service was unorganized. 3 different servers rotated around and in the end, none of them wanted to give us our check until we flagged one down. I am pretty sure we could have easily dined and dashed(for you criminals out there reading this). Still, worth a return visit.

I’m not a huge fan of brunch places in general but I thought this one was pretty decent, and I’d go back again sure! The lines during the weekend can get pretty long but they move fast. My party of two was seated in about 15 minutes or so. The food is typical brunch food with some southern flavors like grilled catfish thrown in the mix. They even have grits! I got the eggs and bacon with grits. The eggs were okay although they needed some salt. The bacon was quite delicious and full of flavor. This was probably one of my favorite bacon pieces I’ve ever had in a brunch place! The grits were disappointing since they didn’t have too much flavor — I didn’t notice the jar of butter until it was too late, otherwise I would have put some butter there. I also shared a side of beignets with my friend. The beignets look really big but the inside of the beignet is quite hollow so you’re not really eating that much actually. It was still quite good and the powdered sugar is awesome. The biscuits are fluffy and the scone was quite good, not too sweet. There were cranberries in the scone.

My husband and I absolutely love brunch. Especially in the city. Just for you café absolutely takes the cake! I was in the mood for some New Orleans style beignets and this place did not disappoint. The staff is incredibly efficient and so friendly! A man named Netti greeted us and made our entire breakfast experience perfect! He gave us 3 free beignets right when we sat down. We will definitely be returning soon.

I ordered a veggie and tofu stir fry with no oil and a side of home fries. They offered to sauté the tofu instead of frying it and made it custom just the way I like it. It was flavorful. The servers were polite and quick. The portions of the entrée and side were enough for a light healthy meal for my fiancé and I. Great experience, great service, healthy, nutritious and quick.

I really liked this place. The first time we went, my husband and I decided we finally had to try it and waited for about an hour. Now days, the weekend wait has definitely lengthened. The wait outside can be awkward so we usually walk around the cool neighborhood and discuss how insane prices have become. Our first time was really memorable. We were seated at a communal table next to two hipsters couples discussing how they«have really gotten into scotch» and how«it is such an expensive hobby». I miss those days. Now, the tables are filled with techies and every conversation sounds like a job interview or pitch for a kickstarted. The oyster omelet is really good, but you might not want to try it when you are recovering from a serious hang over. First time, my lesson was LEARNED. It was still good though. Their beignets are a nice little addition any meal.

Great find for breakfast. The beignets are amazing. And join t the start. I had the biscuits and gravy. Very good. Around the table were various iterations of lluevos rancheros and other egg dishes. A great place to «break the fast» and start the day. The benedicts are only served on the weekends.

Very friendly staff, and a cute little outdoor waiting area. We were offered free beignets to agree to sit outside, as the inside was packed, and it wasn’t a very warm day. The beignets were huge and delicious, and sitting in the sun warmed us up. We got eggs benedict and biscuits and gravy. Both dishes were very tasty, although the biscuits and gravy were a little too heavy for my boyfriend, so he got up to take a quick walk. :P

I am a big promoter of Just For You Café. I have been here several times, and never been let down. Most recently, I brought my brother and some friends, and we had another great experience. I was initially won over by the pint size mimosas. Yes, I said pint size mimosas. Gone are the days of paying $ for a tiny little champagne flute with mostly orange juice. Just For You has really stepped it up here. More importantly, the juices they use are fresh squeezed and delicious. I highly recommend the grapefruit/orange juice combination. I love brunch, so I absolutely love the food here. Biscuits and gravy is one of my favorite items to order. I also love the Chicken and Waffles, but you really cannot seem to go wrong on this menu. The classic breakfast items are always well prepared. The other day we agreed to a slightly smaller table(group of 5), and our server awarded us a card that we could use for a free order of Beignets. These powdery treats were absolutely delightful, and the gesture from our server was so kind. I will certainly continue coming here for brunch on many more occasions.

Was in the Potrero/Dogpatch area for work and stopped by Just For You Café for lunch with a coworker! The staff was incredibly friendly and definitely made for a wonderful dining experience. I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich(pictured) and my coworker had the crab poboy. Both were excellent! I didn’t get a chance to try the beignets but heard they were awesome!

Extremely fast and friendly service. Very kid friendly. Our waitress suggested the huevos rancheros with hatch chilis and it was really very tasty. Their poached eggs and bacon were Perfect. I wish their coffee was a little fresher/stronger but we were there at noon so maybe we got the bottom of the pot. The ambiance and food were so fantastic, that the coffee wasn’t such a let-down My daughter loved her very first pancake and devoured(meaning dropped most of it on the floor) her fruit salad. OJ was excellent!

I came here on Saturday with a group of 4 around 1:30pm. We waited for about 10 minutes, so not too bad. We ordered the beignets, which came out pretty quickly, but we also ordered other dishes, which we had to wait around another 30 minutes for, which is kind of a bummer because I was realllly hungry. Aside from the slow food, service was excellent! Beignets(4⁄5) — Not as greasy as other beignets I’ve had, which was nice. Delicious and sugary. Two Eggs(Fried — medium) with Creole Crab Cake(with Home Fries and Biscuit)(3.5÷5) — The crab cake wasn’t my favorite(it was kind of creamy? not sure), but the home fries(crispy) and the biscuit(nice buttery inside and crumbly outside) were great. As expected, the eggs were standard.

Wait isn’t too bad. People leave every few minutes and others are quickly seated afterwards. Probably waited 15 minutes and this was on a long weekend. The food is just descent though. There’s really nothing special about their breakfast items. We did the beignets too and they were super doughy and and it turns out, they were raw, and we realized this after we ate the first two. My boyfriend split the last one and saw how raw the dough was, it was literally dough spilling out. Hopefully the ones we ate weren’t too raw, but it did leave a yeast taste in our mouths. The beignets were taken off the bill, but still, beignets are kind of their staple item so they should have been cooked properly. P. S. Their beignets are nothing like Café du Monde’s, I don’t care what others have to say.

Vinny Gambini: Are we to believe that boiling water soaks into a grit faster in your kitchen than on any place on the face of the Earth? Mr. Tipton: I don’t know. Vinny Gambini: Well, perhaps the laws of physics cease to exist on your stove. I love the law. .. I mean the laws of physics. .. in accordance to Hollywood conventions that is. What does this all have to do with Just For You Café you might be asking(or maybe you’re already accustomed to my flight of fancy)? Grits, baby. Grits. To which you could say, kiss my. .. but if you got that reference you are obviously very, very. .. well versed in tv. Anyways, I got the Greg’s scramble with chicken-apple sausage and a side of grits. I got to say, it’s been awhile since I’ve had a really good scramble: you get that crisp bite from the onions, sweet component from the sausage, and nice little bit of salt from the parm. Yum. So yum. And I was totally feeling the grits(not literally, of course): simple yet very satisfying and it complimented all the flavors of the scramble. Great service. Neighborhood feel is a plus. Neighborhood parking is not. Chicory in the coffee is a nice touch and remember to try the beignets.

Great staff! The busser and server were on top of it. refilled coffees, waters. super accommodating :) and a plus is… they have a wide variety of hot sauces! And I lOve hot sauce! ;)

Beignets! Wonderful, huge, fabulous beignets! They’re light & airy pillows of perfection. I sat down @ the counter. I ordered the chili scramble w cornbread & home fries. And then I added an order of beignets to take home. They said they would wait until I was about halfway done w my breakfast before firing up the beignets, so that they would be nice & hot when I took them home. Nice! I did not know how large they were, so I opted for 3 instead of just 1. My breakfast arrived in no time. Let’s talk about the sublime texture contrasts… the chili con carne, the scrambled eggs, the cheddar cheese, the diced onion, all piled high on top of the cornbread… You know what all of these things together equals? One rock star heavenly breakfast pyramid, that’s what! OMG good. I tried to get some of each component in every single bite. The new breakfast of champions. The eggs were scrambled the right way; they had fork, but were still soft. The chili had enough spice to please but not overwhelm. The cornbread was fantastic. Moist & flavorful. Good down home southern cornbread. Huge portion. And with the home fries, it looked & felt like the plate weighed a couple of pounds. The home fries were just ok. Next time I’ll opt for a different side. I ate maybe a third of it, & boxed the rest. This turned out to be 3 small meals for me. Service was friendly & attentive. Refilled my coffee on their own, & didn’t forget to fire up my beignets to go. When they brought the beignets to me, I opened the container to take a look… What beauties. What huge beauties. I ate one as soon as I got to my car. I meant to only take a bite, but it was so good all my resolve went out the window in about 2 seconds. They taste as good as they look. JFY Café is one cool neighborhood joint. Good food, good people. 5 stars.

Come early or be prepared for a wait. I came here on ac Sunday morning for brunch with family and waited about 20 minutes for a table. There’s not much seating inside and a couple of tables right out front. The beignets are what brought me here and they didn’t disappoint. They were light, airy, fluffy, and not greasy like other places. I wasn’t that impressed by the rest of the food though that was brought to the table. The home fries were burnt and lacked flavor. The grits looked even worse than the instant stuff. The pancakes I ordered were okay. I was expecting a little more than a couple slices of fruit though. Lastly, the coffee could use some improvement. Our server was friendly and refilled our waters without having to ask. While I wouldn’t come back for their brunch menu, I would come back for their beignets.

Hol’ up I didn’t write a review for this place yet??? [Insert review] Wait time– For a Sunday in SF the wait time wasn’t horrendous. My friend and I waited about 30 mins but only because they couldn’t read my name on the waiting list. So when you place you name down on the list make sure it’s legible because they will surely skip over it. Food– Now the food is the saving grace of this place because it was quite delicious. I ordered the Cowgirl which consisted of 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, with 2 chicken-apple sausages. It was an extremely hearty meal for only $ 12. They have 3 choices for pancakes, buttermilk, cornmeal and buckwheat. I couldn’t decide between the cornmeal and buttermilk so our waitress kindly suggested getting one of each. SCORE! The cornmeal outshined the buttermilk easily. It’s mealy texture it subtle sweetness combined to make a really unique taste. The chicken-apple sausage was tasty as well. Not too sweet but very tender and juicy. Service– Our waitress was super nice but the host/bus boy certainly carried an attitude. I was on my way to the airport and had all my bags and when we were being seated he told us to we could sit bar side. When my friend pointed out we had too many bags to sit there he made a smug remark. Also when he bused our table I heard him complaining to another table that he doesn’t make enough for the«meager» tip we left. We left close to an 18% tip for a meal that was about $ 22 so his remarks were unwarranted and rude. But yea this place is pretty quaint, with outdoor seating. Probably wouldn’t go on a rainy day because the inside is really small. Also there are a bunch of cute signs leading to the bathroom with instructions how to get there and remarks about bathroom etiquette.

Miam mais miaaaam quoi ! Me revoilà à Paris et d’un seul coup, mon petit déjeuner de folie chez Just For you me manqué un peu.
