I’m local, but when I am the city, this is my go-to place, especially for breakfast. It’s family owned and very convenient to the Wharf area. The staff are so giving and attentive. The servings are huge and tasty. It’s a small place so you are not part of a big cattle call. I love these little places!

We had a nice breakfast here. It’s just a short stroll from the Zephyr Hotel where we lived. Nice food nice service too. We will recommend this place to friends n relatives.

Omelette and Belgian waffles tasted good! Only problem with this place is finding a parking spot close by.

A little hidden gem in the bustling area of Fisherman’s Wharf. Great food and service. Small seating area but worth the wait. Seating outside as well. We knew we were in for a treat at the first taste of a cup of coffee. Spanish omelette with chorizo delicious and very filling. The pancakes were light and fluffy. Nice sized portions. Costly but the cost is worth it

A very good place for breakfast! Michael was an awesome server and super friendly! I had the biscuits and gravy and it definitely was just as I hoped. My wife loves the country style potatoes. A nice short walk from our hotel and super close to the wharf. A must-go place!

I had their breakfast tacos. They were SUPER good, however since that was the only thing I had eaten, by lunch time my breakfast was coming back up :(this also continued till the next day. This place seems good but for 15 $ for some tacos and food poisoning it wasn’t worth it.

The breakfast is soooooo good. I had the waffle and it was so incredibly fresh. It’s a small, somewhat hidden location and it looks shady from the outside, but the service and food were spectacular. This place is the breakfast go-to for sure, and the prices were extremely reasonable for all the food you get. Presentation was equally impressive.

Tried to go to Hollywood Café, this turned out better. They easily sat 13 people, gave GREAT mimosas, awesome customer service, and I would totally come back. I got the Biscuits and Gravy and was extremely happy with it.

This had great reviews so we decided to check it out! I got the ham, egg and cheese sandwich on sourdough, my husband got the Spanish omelette with churizo. Service was fast and friendly and food was great. The country potatoes were my favorite, my sandwich was a tad more greasy than I like, but still really good. My husband gives his omelette a 5 rating! It was nice to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather with a cup of coffee. Our bill was only $ 28! Cheapest meal we’ve had in San Francisco! I would totally go back!

Very solid American breakfast joint. NEVER disappoints! I love this place for the quick and friendly services, reasonably priced dishes in Fisherman’s Wharf, and the consistent presentation of food. I usually order the corned beef hash Benedict with country style potatoes. Everything about the Benedict is PERFECT. The potatoes are very fresh and I love the flavor from the green onions. I also like to order the pancakes, which are perfectly fluffy and goes well with the BOTTOMLESS bold coffee. :)

We stumbled upon this little gem on our most recent weekend getaway to San Francisco. It was perfect! Not too crowded. Great selection of breakfast and not too over priced. We both orders back and eggs with sourdough toast. Delicious the bacon was cooked perfectly. We liked it so much we went back the next morning. We will defiantly be making this a breakfast tradition when visiting the city again.

Was on the way to segway tours on 333 jefferson st nearby and this was quick and extremely accommodating! We ordered our breakfast and did not have to wait long — good thing we beat the rush as a line formed behind us. Coffee was enjoyable and so were the French Toast and pancakes. Syrup is a tad runny and sausages were decent. If you’re looking for something reasonably priced and a large selection of food — with a decent wait and fast service come here for your meal! They’ll be ready to serve you.

Found this place on Unilocal, thank you Unilocal!Located right across from our hotel. It was perfect for us. We came in at 7am and got seated right away, the food had generous portions and the family enjoyed their breakfast. I entrée could feed 2 people. I got the Hobo scramble with ham, onions, bell pepper and cheese. Very good. Always get extra crispy hash browns, it tastes better. The hash brown portions are ridiculous. The staff is friendly and we for refills frequently. For our group of 6, they added the tip to the total, which was fine, but just be aware. Tip was $ 15 for breakfast. Filling meal to help start our day in San Francisco.

For the love of God I cannot understand why people wait for hours to get into Hollywood café when there is such a great breakfast spot just 30 feet away. The portions are huge, the food was fresh, and the prices are very decent considering the location. I swallowed my California omelette in a matter of seconds. Despite the size, I still wanted more. Hash browns were probably the best I have ever had. Crispy, light and fresh fresh. My fiancé ordered French toast supreme. O-M-G — soft and crispy and eggy(in a good way) with a generous amount of butter and powered sugar. Oh my, the memory of my breakfast at Joanie’s Happy Days Diner makes my mouth water every time I think about it.

When we visited in August 2013, we ate breakfast here every day. We were referred by our hotel so we received a ginormous strawberry waffle for free. Food was perfect. Outdoor seating was great too.(There are only two or three tables, but it makes for a nice environment if you can snatch one.) Over the course of three days, the four of us tried the bagels, eggs, and everything in between. Would recommend anything on their menu. Two years later and I can still remember that the chai tea was exactly to my liking and I could not have asked for anything more.

Didn’t expect this to be good for some reason, but it ended up pretty good. Food here is tasty and well priced. And by well priced I mean cheap, which is pretty unusual considering this spot is almost on fishermans wharf, has cool outdoor seating and coffee that keeps on coming. Yum! Went here with a friend and had a nice time and nice food. Great spot to go after a wild night out. I had a tasty french toast with added strawberries and delicious cloudy whipped cream that tasted dreamy. And looked like a cloud. Everything tasted extra good because I was so starving. I would definitely come here again. Yummy good food, but not memorable enough to get 5 stars. Its good but not great. But I like. If I was in the area and didn’t want to wait in line at Mamas I’d come here. Which is essentially what I did.
