i worked with JC for over four years and cannot express my gratitude or endorsement of his guidance as a therapist enough — he is truly a gift.
as a queer person, searching for a therapist that was affordable, appreciative of all components of my identity and life experience, and made me feel at ease was daunting. i searched high and low for someone to feel «at home» with. JC was just that person. i felt safe to be me, even when i was still uncovering/​discovering who that person was.
JC was always receptive, open, and provided the gentle encouragement i truly value in a therapeutic setting. if i had not moved across the country, i would certainly still be grateful to be working with him today. i cannot recommend him enough!

JC’s style is completely disarming, gentle, and compassionate, yet he’s smart as hell and really creative – and challenging, which is something I find to be a necessity from a therapist. I feel totally comfortable talking to him about just about anything, which says a lot about his capacity for understanding and open-​mindedness. Totally recommended!
