I stopped by to see if they were open and had a really nice chat with one of the guys there. He said they may be opening later in the year.

Walked by. Door was open. People just stared at me. So I asked what it was. Flat unfriendly response: «intelligentsia.» Oh the roasters? I asked. Yeah someone said. And that was it. No smiles. No invitations to check out their awesome facility and cupping. No «we aren’t open to the public,» or «we don’t sell our coffee here but you cAn check us out at ____.» Just yeah. Thanks guys

My wife brought me some«Intelligentsia Organic Perla De Oaxaca Mexico Coffee» From Rainbow Market I think(?). Its hands down the worst bag of coffee I’ve ever had. Usually I’m a fan of lighter roasts but these seem to have hardly been roasted at all, and the flavor is just not good. I tried mixing them with other brands of coffee to get through the bag– but gave up and threw it away– and I never throw anything away. These guys need to learn how to roast coffee beans. In a town with so much good coffee they arent going to last, so I guess visit their shop and see how awful it is, while you still can! _Absolutely_Terrible._

I’ll give them 5 stars just for opening. Come on, already!
