By far my favorite House of Walker experience. Fantastic venue and I loved the set-up. The venue was the Concordia-Argonaut Club, a private club. There’s great ambiance in that building and it just felt comfortable. And classy! I wish I could join this club! And the people at Johnnie Walker mixed it up a bit. Previous experiences were good but, compared to last night, those were reminiscent to sitting in on a lecture in a classroom. Tonight, we were in an elegant waiting room before being led to a room to watch«The Man Who Walked Around The World». Still love it when Robert Carlyle tells the piper to shut it. Then the JW global ambassador led us to the 2nd floor for a Black Label tasting. Afterwards we were set loose. With a set of drink tickets given to us when we checked in, we could go to various rooms and trade the appropriate ticket in for a different blend. We hit the Red room first where a mixologist prepared a drink in exchange for the red ticket. I chose the Scot Free with its hints of orange. Tasty. They also had Rob Roys, red with ginger beer, one with bitters and possibly one other drink. Then it was off to the Gold room for us for JW Gold chilled for 24 hours. Smooth. From there we headed upstairs for JW Blue. It was a bit smokey for me until ice was added. Some very pricey JW bottles were also displayed in this room. The final room was for another hit of JW Black in whatever method we preferred. On the rocks. With water. Neat. A great room to kick back in and relax with our final drink of the evening. There was even a pool table.
