Stopped by on my way to SFGH. A true hole in the wall diner. Food looked amazing and coffee was as expected. Will definitely stop by for the food next time.

Went here on a random Tuesday night for dinner and drinks with a friend. Turns out they just re-opened up as a bar and grill! I met the owner(Josh) and learned that he painted all of the walls himself and they look pretty awesome. The dinner menu is full of delicious options. The scallops were yummy! Their house made sangria(w/tequila) is AWESOME. You’ve got to try a glass. Definitely worth checking out this new mission joint!

This place is now a bar and grill! Decent selection of menu items, my favorite beer on tap(fat tire). The walls in the interior look pretty spiffy. It gets pretty cold inside, but its pretty good. The rib eye steak was delicious. They also have a very tasty sangria!

I just wanted a cup of joe, and I was in the mood to contend with neither the hippies at Revolution Café nor the hipsters at Ritual Roasters. You can imagine my relief when I spotted a sign for Hidden Paradise Café. I’d never been inside the Mission Mall, but it’s a dim shaded space that I imagine would offer a welcome respite on a warm summer day in the Mission. It was not such a day that I stepped into the mall, but fortunately for me, Josh fixed me a nice hot cup of coffee to thaw me out from the cold. You step up to a bar and he asks whether you want coffee or tea. From what I can tell, he has a fine selection of different teas and coffees from different regions. He drip brews«one cup at a time,» just as his sign promises. And everything is customizable, if that’s your shtick. I especially appreciated that he had me tell him how much steamed milk I wanted. No syrups, though, so stick to Starbucks or the like if that’s what you crave. There are two sizes — small for $ 2.50 or large for $ 3. Easy peasy. And he’ll give you a $ 0.50 price reduction if you bring your own cup! $ 0.50! Tip it back to him for being such a nice guy(and also for encouraging green living). I’m so glad to have found a coffee place where the lack of pretension doesn’t mean a bad cup of coffee. And check this place out. He has a lot of competition from the glut of coffee joints in the Mission!
