Valeria Lannes

It’s a very peaceful space shared with another acupuncturist. It was my first real massage (other than using massage chairs) so I was a bit nervous in the beginning, but Valeria’s warm personality put me at ease right away. I had shoulder pain so she focused on that first. We started on a chair and then moved to the massage table. She did a mixture of shiatsu, deep tissue and Tui Na massage. It was so smooth and relaxing! Will definitely come see her again.

I’ve been seeing Valeria for over 6 years now– starting when she was at Valencia Healing Arts (if you want to see more 5 star reviews of her, go to that Unilocal listing). I’m not the type who uses words like «healer» but Valeria is truly one. My friends who I’ve referred to her call her «magic» as well. I don’t know how she does it but whether you’re in pain or just coming in for a relaxing massage, she fixes you. Perhaps it’s her amazing ‘energy’ (another word I rarely use). She is truly one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. And I like that she doesn’t kill you when working on knots/​adhesion, and yet she far more effective at releasing tension than most other massage therapists. I’m incredibly picky about body work and I honestly think she’s one of the best massage therapists in SF.
