I used to love the mom-​n-​pop feel of this coffee shop, and found the ladies running the place quite pleasant… until they up-​charged me not once, but TWICE in a row. i’d clearly state that i wanted a small/​regular, and oops… magically a large would appear. and usually where you’d expect them to just give it to you for the price of the small, they had the *nerve* to try to charge me for the large and say «well, if you don’t have enough…» It just left a really bad taste in my mouth, and I later found out my co-​worker had the same experience. So what if I’m a sellout, I’d gladly walk the extra block to Starbuck’s.

My usual morning coffeeshop, they serve excellent coffee and a wide array of pastries and lunch items.
The ladies running it are very cheerful, it’s a great place to stop by in the morning.
