Golden Gate Pharmacy

I went there once for some meds for my cold. So I walked and had no idea what to get. So I asked the pharmacist there. He was helpful in giving me some ideas what I should get as well as providing detailed information on side effects and usage.

I like this pharmacy. Walgreen always has a long line. And the employees are all very nice. They give discount for my family. and always answer my question nicely. I don’t know why people wrote those bad review for them??? They always help me with my insurance plan.

The pharmacist was very helpful. My prescription wasn’t covered by my health plan, but he helped me to contact the doctor and change to something else, so I didn’t have to pay over $ 100 for my prescription. The clerk in the pharmacy was so very friendly. I like this community pharmacy. I will fill my prescription from now at this place.

HOLY COW. I’ve never encountered such rudeness over the phone as with this place. Our vet inadvertently gave us the wrong GGPharm number, so I called here. The initial person was very helpful in trying to find out what we needed, but couldn’t find our prescription. The person she passed me along to, older man, heavy Chinese accent, was, in one word, an ASSHOLE. Rude, condescending, and didn’t even try to help me when it turned out that I had the wrong place. I asked for the right number, since they are connected and he refused to give it to me. He then hung up on me. I called back — disconnected again. Called again — disconnected again. One last time, I called and expressed my appreciation for the first person who helped me, and then… I hung up on them. I have a lot of options when it comes to filling prescriptions or shopping, in choosing where to spend my money. THIS place won’t be one of them, and I recommend purchasing elsewhere, where the main person running the show is decent to potential customers. What a jerk.

It’s a okay pharmacy. The workers can be real grouchy, but they get your medicine to ya. They don’t explain how to take them and stuff but you can always read the label. I don’t like the smell in there that much either.
