They don’t make their own pastries. That’s not a bakery, that’s a café.

This place used to be a Bakers of Paris. B of P is located in Brisbane. It’s the closest I’ll get to French bread because the place is Vietnamese-owned. The pain Parisienne(over $ 2, a reasonably crunchy crust and airy center) is my favorite loaf, but their bagette(under $ 2/loaf) isn’t bad either. I took my latte(it’s OK for $ 2.60) and 2 croissants(a little buttery, flaky but dry) and apple pastry(round pastry with a delish, not-too-sweet apple center, but not enough apples!) home. Both were very good. The above cost me $ 9.60. Definitely the place to come get your French bagette when you’re craving for those French sandwiches with butter or Brie cheese. Next time I’ll have to try the Vietnamese coffee. They have counter-type seating by the windows.
