Francisco Studios

just went to their open studio event.
saw a lot of nice artwork and good bands.
friendly people.
very clean and well kept.
my only suggestion is to trim the tree around the old turko persian rug co sign!

This place is freaking awesome.
My daughter and some other folks I know take drum lessons here. Unlike some really nasty, dirty and smelly shared studios spaces that I have seen, Francisco Studios appears to be inhabited by professionals who take care of the space.
Located just a block from the Balboa Bart station and a not far from 280, it is a convenient location. It has a small parking lot and it is brightly lit as well.

I recently moved into an art studio here and its AWESOME! one of the best kept secrets in the city for sure… I was paying for an overpriced art studio, in a building that was literally crumbling away in the mission until I seriously lucked out and found this amazing place. I say lucked out because spaces very rarely come available here. Its a combo of art/​music studios and you get a huge, private, ground floor space with natural light for a very reasonable price. The neighborhood is much safer that the mission, and the manager/​landlord is laid back and very nice. everyone who rents in the building is friendly, hardworking and professional… what more could you ask for?
