Focaccia Market and Bakery

Every time I order catering from this place, something is always missing… EVERY SINGLE TIME! I’ve complained to the manager who promised to oversee our orders, but nothing has changed. Today TWO ITEMS WERE MISSING. If you need reliable catering, DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!

We get our lunch here everyday and recently it has just gone completely downhill. The hot food is absolutely ridiculous and the meat looks and taste like pure rubber. A coworker of mine just had a chicken kebab today and he is sitting here waiting patiently to get food poison from the chicken. The only nice hot food we ever had was the baked potato station, and go figure it was only ever on the menu once.
We get coffee every now and then in the mornings and yesterday was the final straw when the coffee we got was freezing, not even lukewarm and I must add it was flavored with vanilla sweetener (that’s disgusting). I will say however, I had a great breakfast sandwich made the other day that I enjoyed (it did take 15 minutes though).
The only bit of food that is consistent is the salad station (shout out to the awesome workers) but I am getting bored eating salads every day and would like a better hot food option.
It pains me to give this place only one star as it is the only food option in Brisbane but I can no longer keep my silence when dealing with the hot food.

For those of us who are a captive audience in the building, there should be more variance in the hot prepared food. Same veggies every day. But the meat dishes are good — like home cooking. Salad bar is fabulous — choice like you cannot believe. Sandwiches are also great — again, lots of choice.,

I have been to this location a few times and it has yet to disappoint! I usually get a sandwich as the bread is always fresh, they hook up the meat and there are plenty of delicious veggies to pile on. Try it toasted as it adds something to the flavor.

Ever since Focaccia has opened, I eat here quite frequently. They use high quality ingredients for fair prices (esp. for the bay area). After a few months, they started offering a great variety of options for lunch that were absolutely delicious and healthy!
Furthermore, what makes this place special is their down to earth, friendly and courteous staff. Hugo, Selene, and Henri are memorable and I enjoy them seeing them every day. They always greet everybody with a smile and are very perceptive of customer needs. They are knowledgeable about the ingredients and prompt with their services.
I would definitely recommend this place!

food is decent. but, if you want any hot breakfast, be prepared to wait. a. long. time. try 15 minutes for the two people in front of me to have their orders completed. and, another 5 minutes to get my breakfast sandwich made. so, terrible grill service which results in a terrible customer experience. but, hey, at least the long wait to order and the long wait to get my order made is consistent.
i only eat here because i work in the building. otherwise i would eat here all the time — that is, when i have an hour or two to burn.

Nice place. Great Food.
Prices are reasonable and the place is super clean.
Only issue: it’s loud. But well worth going.

Boring choices and the fish made me sick last week.

I come here once or twice a week for lunch. Beautiful location in ground floor of the SAP and ICIX building in South San Francisco. I usually get the small salad with three free toppings, one of them usually being a hard-​boiled egg, and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I’ve had the sandwiches, too, which are large and tasty. You always get a free slice of Focaccia bread when you get anything for lunch. I’ve been for breakfast, too. The apple pastry is my favorite. The dark roast coffee is okay The staff is always very friendly.

The best salad bar! Everything is FRESH. They charge by the items. not the weight. which is perfect because I usually like the heavy items and end up paying too much at other salad spots. I got kale, baby spinach, tons of toppings, and lime vinaigrette mixed with balsamic vinaigrette. The small size was definitely enough for a meal, they pack it in!

This place looks pretty promising. There’s a salad station, sandwich station and hot entrée station. Coffee and pastries on the far side. I ordered the chicken Marsala with two sides, rice and Mac and cheese. Tastes pretty good and pretty generous portions! Can’t wait to try more stuff here. So glad to have another lunch option nearby!
