Flower Lady @ 24th St BART

So I have this problem. I can’t ever remember dates. Not appointments, but those mundane annual ones. Like loved ones birthdays. Maybe you are like me.
You are on BART after an excruciating day at work when it dawns on you, it’s your girlfriend’s birthday. You need a gift fast. The anxiety builds as you are hurled through the underbelly of the city.
You get off the train and take the south escalator back towards the dwindling daylight. Then, as if it was an escalator to heaven itself, an angel utters a single word…

Yes! I would love some flowers, thank you. How do you know me so well?

Very nice. $ 5 for a decent looking bunch of flowers. Good selection. Cheaper than Safeway and I don’t even want to know what a florist charges for this. Very friendly lady.
