I called at around 4:50pm and asked if they were still open and Hiep was nice enough to wait for me since they close at 5pm. I came to the salon with a picture and Hiep looked at the picture briefly and started chopping away. I’m the type that will allow the hairstylist to play with my hair as long as it turns out great. About ten minutes later he’s done with my hair and it looked nothing like the picture (I thought my hair looked ridiculously awful). I was a little frustrated and asked him to fix my hair and 10 minutes later it looked a lot better but it didn’t meet my expectations. I thought bringing a picture would be helpful (guess not). I will give Hiep 3.5 stars since my hair will grow out and the cut only cost me $ 15. I really wanted to like this place since the price was so low and he kindly waited for me however I think next time I will try another salon.

Hiep is a fine barber and a nice gentleman. He’s quick and efficient and remembers my hairstyle from the previous visit even if it is six weeks between haircuts. He’s a one person shop which I like and he does not overcharge. He seems quite intuitive when it comes to cutting hair, but I know it’s the result of long experience. Excellent results every time!

Hiep is now my go to barber.
The shape of my head is kind of weird but Hiep knows how the hair will grow out and it always comes out nice. No transition «bad haircut week». In fact, on my last visit, he didn’t even leave many hair clippings on my clothes.
Five star all the way… and as a bonus, he has game show TV going on in the background!

Next February will be his 18^th year in the business. Not bad.
Heip was very meticulous with my haircut. Even though I didn’t really know what I wanted, he recommended how it should look and it turned out great! He was also very friendly. He even replaced the water in the spray bottle with warm water on a cold day.
A haircut is still 15 dollars.

Hiep is my new go-​to barber, hands down.
Forget the fact that the cut is $ 15, and you probably never have to wait or make an appointment, open 6 days a week, and it’s in a hella bare-​bones storefront with a tricky doorknob.
Judge this place on the fact that he will tell you to your face he’s going to cut your hair exactly the way you want it and give it his 100% based on 17 years of operating the same shop — and then DELIVER. Dude is SKILLED, devoted, friendly, patient, meticulous — and he tells a hell of a story. I tried a cuppla other shops in the area, and no need to search further.

for the first time in my adult life, i LOVE my hair! Hiep understands and appreciates each person’s unique hair and face and takes the time to make sure you are always happy with your cut. he doesn’t do his own thing, but listens to what you want. in addition to a fantastic haircut, you might even learn some words of wisdom. Hiep is a great guy to talk to and learn from and he REALLY knows hair!!! never before has a hair cut been so enjoyable!

After trying a number of places in the area with frustrating results, I gave this place a shot and I’m really glad I did. Instead of plowing through, he made sure to ask before doing anything I didn’t explicitly request at the start. I got exactly what I wanted for $ 15.

Yep — My man Hyep. He’s been my regular barber for years now. My first visit we spent a good deal of time going over how I wanted my hair and he really worked hard to meet my requirments. I’m the type that could care less about how my hair is cut — but I still very much appreciated his efforts and devotion to his profession.

Hiep, the barber is a fade master. I’ve been going to him for the past 13 years. I trust his hands to my misshapen head and ridiculous cowlicks anytime. He examines your hair, sees the direction of its growth, eyeballs the bumps, then sculpts your hair to fade perfection. Can’t speak for the ladies, but guys, he’s the hair yoda.
