OK, I decided to give them another chance — I think the pupusa incident was an honest mistake(they’re still overpriced, though.) I’m bumping up my score to a 4 because, unlike most restaurants I’ve ever gone to, they’re totally cool with replacing meat with other ingredients for no extra charge. Last time I got a breakfast burrito with extra cheese instead of ham or bacon, and this time I got a croissant sandwich with tomato and avocado instead of ham. Their eggs are good(unlike the strange egg sponges they serve on the sandwiches at Barbary Coast a few blocks away), the croissants they use are good, and they’re nice and accommodating. So yeah, I’ll forgive them for making a mistake even if it was a little traumatic at the time.

Oh wait. .new place just opened up because I have never seen the inside of this building. I was greeted by two wonderful young Latin ladies. They said«buenos dias» and I replied. I was just going to grab a bagel and coffee and eat it in my car but one of the ladies talked me into eating it comfortably. I am glad I did. I ordered the breakfast bagel(egg, bacon, toasted, plain) and it was better than most places. It was nice and hot plus the bacon was to my liking… crisp but not too crisp. Egg was fluffy and great tasting. Didnt grab a coffee but will have to make another trip while in the neighborhood. Also make a note to try the pupusas as well. Wish them good luck. PROS New place Great bagels CONS Needs more décor Kinda sketchy area but changing No credit cards
