(+) — good location(but there’s a lot of other motels/hotels in the area) — free guaranteed(covered) parking (if driving) (-) — without deadbolt the door can be pushed open with little force — dirty — $ 113/night(sun & mon nights) — no refunds — …other places with better reviews were $ 89/night — no towels in room… had to ask front desk which closes at 11pm(we arrived kinda late) — 2 pillows in room… asked for 2 more, got them without pillow cases — no fitted sheet on bed… really? gross — queen bed — blankets too small to cover 2 people, so constant draft & fighting for covers

Very kind manager. Let us do late checkout free of charge since my girlfriend and I went big the night before. Also had a bit of a plumbing issue but he came and fixed it right away. Overall the rooms are pretty good, larger than I expected, pretty clean, and recently updated. The only thing Is that the place comes off as creepy since the rooms don’t have a lot of natural light and its an older building. Would recommend to weekend party goers. Went during the huge fleet week weekend and the price was right and the location was phenomenal!

BEDBUGS!!! Stayed here early august 2012 for one night, returned home, found the BEDBUGS in all the luggage etc after returning home the next day. What’s worse is the staff knew that the room had BEDBUGS and didn’t care enough to say anything. The guy at the front desk seemed nervous in retrospect tho he was really sweet. He kept saying in a joking voice that the room was stinky, and please don’t write a bad review. Now I know why. CRAWLING is a better word for it. Also, when returning the room key thru the slot the different front desk guy said with quite a sure tone that oh no no no, you are mistaken, you must have stayed in another room. They knew the room had BEDBUGS and rented it out anyway. Booked the room on so at best they failed to rectify a mistake they knew was happening. On top of that the room keys failed to work after returning from dinner. AND someone tried to get into the room at 3AM thank god I deadbolt the door… Any tips on getting rid of bedbugs?

I’ve stayed here a few times and really like the location and the management. They always greet me as if I am an old friend coming to visit. It’s nice to feel welcome. The rooms are clean and tidy. There’s free parking and free WiFi. The hotel is just a few blocks from the gazillion restaurants and shops on Chestnut and there is a 24 hour drug store about a block or so away.

Dont stay here… The man who works the desk is very friendly… But has a key an will show you the rooms of non occupied and occupied… he wanted to show me the rooms that he had and actually opened one of them and someone had all their stuff inside the room!.. Also one of the rooms had a large and questionable stain on the floor that looked like blood… the man also ran up to our car door an asked if we would want to stay there even though we said no… nice man but very questionable place to stay at…

I stayed here Sat. night as a last min resort… and I was surprised with how nice it was… I mean for 85 bucks on lombard… i was expecting some piece of shit place… but this place was very clean, and felt fairly new. I wasnt grossed out at all. Theres no shampoo/conditioner so bring your own– My friend and i bought a boom box from the walgreens across the street and just returned it the next day 0=) we had fun =) and would def. go back.
