Came here for restaurant week and LOVED every last bite of my meal! If I could graph my satisfaction of my meal(y-axis) by the course number(x-axis), well the curve would definitely be exponential. It started with the bread basket, which was nice and warm… you know, a decent start but nothing amazing. Then came my appetizer, the Burrata Pomodoro e Rucola! It was nice and fluffy/creamy/soft and it was paired with a fresh and spicy arugula salad. Delish. After that was the main course… the Pappardelle al Ragu and let me tell you, it was SOGOOD. House made pasta and flavorful creamy tomato with lamb sauce, how does that not sound amazing?! Topped with some freshly grated Parm… to die for. Ok and lastly(even though I was 100% full, I decided that one dessert wasn’t enough and had my boyfriend order one as well!), we ordered the Zabaglione con Fragole and Panna Cotta. While the zabaglione was so light and wonderful with the fresh strawberries, the Panna Cotta was out of this world! I mean literally, it was the best dessert of my life and I would go back there for just that, and I mean I would honestly be willing to go back there and order 3 just for myself while everyone else eats their dinners. I personally loved the strawberry sauce, and could do without the chocolate… but thats just me. If you’re in the area and looking for an Italian place and have a sweet tooth for Panna cotta… then you should 100% stop by this place! –oh yeah, and the servers are cool too

Good pasta, but definitely not below me out of the waters amazing. I know that they make the noodles from scratch and use fresh ingredients, which is nice. I ordered a special that they had that night — homemade spinach fettuccine with scallops and crab. While the noodles were good, there was barely any seafood meat in the dish. It was very heavy on the pasta. Service was very friendly and attentive. Many tables seemed to be celebrating birthdays and the servers would sing happy birthday. That said, the space was pretty tight and small. It also got a bit too hot since there were so many people dining. Overall I would be open to returning but I suspect there must be other more delicious Italian restaurants in the city.

Cute funny bubbly dancing singing Italian men with my meal? Count me in. I came to E’ Tutto Qua in 2011 long before I was a Unilocaler. To come back and revisit was an extreme pleasure. AND… for SF Restaurant Week?!? YAS. This was probably the only restaurant I thought was well worth the $ 40. Came with super food buddy Nate W. and baller CEO Mike T., everyone enjoyed their meal. Sf Restaurant Week only $ 40.person fixed menu –Appetizer– :Pere e Prosciutto– Fresh pears and mascarpone cheese wrapped in Italian ham. Pretty interesting with the pears that are juicy and sweet contrasted with the salty savoriness of the cheese and ham. :Fritto Misto– Shrimp, calamari & zucchini lightly battered & fried with a fresh tomato dipping sauce. The sauce was super interesting as it was creamy sweet sour kick. Enjoyed the shrimp a lot and they were a good size. –Main Course– :Pacchei Golosi– large tube pasta with prosciutto, porcini mushrooms, & white truffle oil in a cream sauce. Supposedly their winning dish in a competition. The pasta was hollow, surrounded by the super creamy truffle-fied sauce. My friends both LOVED it but I was not on the same level of love. Don’t get me wrong, it was good, I just wish the component came with some sort of filling as it felt incomplete. :Anatra all’aceto Balsamico– Roasted duck breast in a balsamic reduction. The reduction was a big kick of sour paired with sweet. The duck was cooked to perfection filled with moisture. :Involtino di Pollo– Chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto, fontina cheese, spinach in white wine sauce. It was so so! The chicken was moist, dont get me wrong, it was so so compared to all the other dishes that were elevated. But had it been on its own not compared to all the other dishes, it was pretty good. –Dessert– Panna Cotta– Italian«cooked cream» topped with fresh strawberry sauce, chocolate hazelnut sauce. The chocolate sauce was overly sweet and somewhat the strawberry sauce too. But the overall dish was pretty good. The panna cotta was smooth to the touch. It has the texture of chilled solid pudding. ~.:Service, Atmosphere, Parking:.~ The servers were all super nice, warm, and fun as I mentioned in the beginning. They always checked on us and greeted us like we were long time friends. The atmosphere was like a big Italian party. And you know what that’s like. SUPER entertaining, LOUD(so loud my ear drums almost popped), and festive. Chairs were all super close to each other since it was a smaller space despite the two level. Parking was all too hard if you tried to find free street parking. My friend parked one block away in a parking lot and paid ~$ 10?

This place has an amazing energy with the host jumping around in merriment and waiters singing out aloud. I went here with big group on a Saturday night– so it was understandably busy. The service was good, everyone was super friendly and our cocktails were well made. The food however was a disappointment. We were served stale bread, the bruschetta was soggy and so was the eggplant parm. We ordered 2 pasta dishes and both were pretty bland. To sum it up, good ambience, average food.

Came here for restaurant week with the bf and showed up a half hour earlier than our reservation but we still received a warm welcome from the host and were shown to a table almost immediately despite the restaurant being packed. The host was extremely friendly and all of the waiters were super attentive. Because we came for restaurant week we each ordered an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert. Between the two of us we ordered the fritto misto aka calamari, pears with mascarpone wrapped in prosciutto, the paccheri golosi — big tube pasta with a truffle cream sauce and prosciutto, the risotto with sausage, arugula, porcini mushrooms and black truffles, the tiramisu, and the panna cotta. Everything was amazing, perfectly seasoned and pretty decent portion sizes for a restaurant week menu. We definitely left stuffed. I highly recommend the calamari, it was super crispy and still warm. The panna cotta with both the berry sauce and the hazelnut sauce was a star of the night as well. Overall a great meal with a friendly atmosphere and amazing service. Definitely worthy of 5 stars.

My favorite place in north beach! The owners and waiters are so friendly all the time and it feels like you’re in Italy! Love the gnocchi but everything’s great.

This Italian restaurant is on the corner of Broadway and Columbus in North Beach. It has a nice atmosphere. The service is good. The food is good. I got the salsiccia and funghi pizza. It was larger than I thought. It’s not skimpy. It’s rather big. You’ll probably have leftovers. It’s thin crust. I tried some of my friend’s veal with spinach and potatoes. It was good. I’d come back again. This is a slightly more expensive restaurant.

Buongiorno! Everyone here at E’ Tutto Qua is so happy and friendly and really adds to the whole big italian family atmosphere. I’ve heard good things about this place so we decided to come here for dinner while in SF. We made a reservation for 4 at 7pm on a Monday night. The place was packed when we got there! We didn’t get seated until around 7:30pm. FOOD: — papardelle with lamb ragu — papardelle is my favorite type of pasta and I really enjoyed the hamdmade quality of the noodles! Thicker and chewier than normal. The ragu was rich but not too gamey and I enjoyed it The salad was on the smaller side, but really flavorful and refreshing. Octopus carpaccio was good as well. My friends also enjoyed their pastas :) The panna cotta with fresh strawberry sauce was sooo good! I’ve never had such dense panna cotta before and it’s delicious! The tiramisu was also light and fluffy and not too heavy in flavor. SERVICE: A touch slow, but it was a very busy night. Our appetizers came out quickly, but it took a while before our entrees arrived. Our whole dinner lasted about 2.5 hours. VENUE/PARKING: Two stories, right on the corner across from the City Lights Bookstore. Really lively, on the noisier side since it’s packed with people eating, drinking and laughing. Also, if it’s your birthday, they’ll sing to you! Really loudly hahaha. We found a free metered spot a few blocks away, score!

Dinner at E’ Tutto Qua during Christmas time will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a Nora Ephron film à la You’ve Got Mail. It is pure, cozy holiday magic in there. On a Saturday night, it gets very packed inside. Your group won’t be seated until every single person in your party is present, so make sure your friends are punctual, or else you’ll be waiting awkwardly in their tiny doorway for quite some time. Their menu is heavily pasta-based, so you should like pasta if you come here. They offer lots of selections for wine and a lengthy dessert menu as well. Come here whenever you want to feel cozy — eat large tube pasta in creamy sauces, followed by Grand Marnier tiramisu; drink lots of wine and let the waitstaff treat you like you’re part of their extended Italian family.

Loud and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant. We had a very large group(25+) and they tried very hard to accommodate everyone. I felt bad for the couple adjacent to us who were trying to enjoy a romantic dinner, but we were very loud.(We were upstairs, which usually seats large groups). I ordered the daily special of house made pappardelle with lobster in a spicy tomato sauce. Not sure how much it was, but I was not expecting a whole lobster. I was thinking chunks of lobster integrated within my pasta. NOPE. It got pretty messy, but they did most of the cracking with me. Id love to come back again and try their other dishes. We skipped out on dessert, since we were all pretty full. Just be warned, you’ll probably do a lot of yelling across the table: it gets very loud in the restaurant.

I had such high hopes for this place and I left very disappointed. My gf and I entered the restaurant after getting lassoed in by a charming young Italian man. The atmosphere is very inviting, there’s lovely music and the servers are nice to you. They gave us their complimentary bread to start out with and we ordered the burratta pomodoro e rucola($ 12.95)(italian mozzarella with cherry tomatoes and arugula). The mozzarella was delicious and fresh. I can’t say the same for the bread though. It was very stale and almost inedible. I saw our waiter take our bread out from a container in the second floor storage area… The gf got the squid ink pasta with mixed seafood and she thought it tasted okay. I ordered some chicken spaghetti with marinara sauce off the Specials board and it threw me a curve ball. Two bites into my dish, i felt a small bone in my mouth. I disregarded it and continued eating it. Five minutes in, I felt another bone in my mouth. I immediately threw in the white towel, plus the sauce of the spaghetti didn’t taste that great either. E’ Tutto Qua is beautiful and charming but the food failed my expectations greatly. There are probably 3 – 4 other Italian restaurants off Columbus Ave that I would patronize before this place again.

4 star food. 5 star service. Make a reservation. My norcina pasta was good. Pasta was cooked nicely and al dente. A little too much sauce and hardly any sausage though. Saw the lamb and prosciutto pasta on other tables and it looked REAL good. Would like to try those next time along with the calamari salad. The pizza was thin and crispy but majorly lacked cheese and toppings. Disappointing. I expected real Roman style pizza and this fell short. My husband ordered the veal dinner special and it was well put together. The presentation was thoughtful. The flavor of the veal with the sautéed greens, and balsamic cream were bellissima! Paired well with the Umbria Chianti bottle we ordered. The panna cotta was really terrific. Definitely order this dessert with both the strawberry and chocolate sauce. Not overly rich or creamy. Great texture and smooth flavor. Service was friendly and genuinely sweet. Five big stars for that!

Had a 4 course meal here and i must say — it was hard to finish. Generous portions and amazing flavor. Got the lamb(medium) — melted like butter. Very light seasoning made it easy to taste the lamb in itself which is how it should be made! Loud but very fun family oriented(grown up fam) venue. Can be a tight squeeze like anything else in this city. Very much a place to hit up! I am from a strong Italian town in LA and they do things right — they do the same here, make you feel like family and appreciated for coming into their place. I recommend the«bacon pasta» very nice. Loved the oranges in the salad. The gelato was a bit tooooo sweet for me but i aint much of a sweet tooth for some things. My lady had the sea bass — catch of the day(which I hear is caught daily from fishermans wharf area) — that was sooo good, melt into you mouth perfection. Loved it as much as my little lamb that i destroyed.

I arrived for a early dinner at 5pm, but the place was pack by 6 for a Saturday night dinner. Service was attentive and they always checked up on us despite how busy the restaurant was. With a party of four, we ordered two appetizers. Carpaccio di Polpo(boiled and chilled octopus thinly sliced topped with olive purée, capers and dressing) and classic Fritto Misto(battered and fried shrimp, calamari and zucchini). The carpaccio was my favorite for overall taste, but I can’t resist fried calamari. I ordered the Veal Roast special, which was Italian sausage and eggplant ground up, then wrapped with mushrooms, and then wrapped with a piece of veal, roasted, and then topped with white wine sauce, accompanied with spinach and mash potatoes. On the side was bislamic glacé dipping sauce which gave the veal a sweet and smokey flavor. This is a place I would like to return to try other menu items as well as specials. Parking is always a challenge, this is why we opted for an early dinner. Give this place a try

Jules Y. had the right idea, celebrating birthday month, only to find out we share the same birthday! Normally we would not still be going out for my birthday in November but something came up and dinner with my cousin ended up being pushed out. When she asked me if there was a place that I wanted to try, I immediately thought of E Tutto Qua which I just recently bookmarked. Being a huge fan of the Rachael Ray Show since that is the bulk of where my recipes that I cook and blog about comes from, I knew I had to try this place when they were on it representing SF for the Little Italy Challenge. Between 4 of us, we split 2 appetizers. The carpaccio de polpo was very tasty with the combination of olives, lemon juice, and olive oil. The octopus is fully cooked(not raw) but served carpaccio style which means very thinly sliced. Nice light appetizer but definitely not filling. The frutti misto had calamari, shrimp, and zucchini with a warm dipping sauce. The warm sauce threw a couple of people off since it is a bit unexpected but it just reminded me of a variation of a tomato bisque. So another great app. For entrees, I had to go for the paccheri golosi they made for the competition. It is homemade large tube pasta in a truffle oil cream sauce with mushrooms and prosciutto. Heads up that this is not like a manicotti where it is stuffed with filling but more like a large flat ziti noodle that is in the sauce. Because of the cream in the sauce, it was satisfying enough that I was not hungry and I enjoyed the flavors of the truffle oil in the sauce. The other dish I was excited about trying was the veal scallopini with black truffle. I had a sample of it but was not impressed as the veal was a bit overcooked and dry since it is thinly sliced and I just did not taste the truffle in the dish at all. So this was the disappointing dish for me. The stuffed veal special was much better since they are thicker slices and the stuffing of pine nuts and basil really shone through. The surprise of the meal was actually the tonarelli de mare which is housemade spaghetti with seafood. The juices of the seafood beautifully flavored the dishes and the fresh pasta makes the al dente pasta firm but not too hard which is a big problem with boxed pastas. Service was great and makes you feel like you are in a trattoria in Italy, a perfect place for my 100th review of the year. Grazie E Tutto Qua!

Italian fare mucho deliciousooo. Just like your fictional Italian grandmama used to make. Friendly staff who seem to love working there, with big smiles and rollicking accents. Pasta is the way to go here, big hearty dishes that put you in a cheese and tomato food coma. The gnocchi were warm and chewy, and the cheese they came with added a tang to the heaviness. Note: could have used more of this. Save room for dessert, as the Panna cotta is to die for, thick creamy and mouth melting. Great for big groups, but be prepared to wait awkwardly at the bar, as there isn’t much space to hang out. Pretty Christmas lights make this scenic. As does the neon. strip bars across the road:*)

Had a great time with my siblings here for dinner! We had to find a place to carb up before my sister ran the Nike Half marathon, and E’ Tutto Qua seemed like the perfect place. Our only concern was the wait, so we called to make a reservation for 8:00PM. It ended up being more like 8:30PM since it was PACKED inside, so they had set up tables outside. There were a few other parties with the same reservation time that waited as well. People walking up were given 1+hour waits, so though you may wait with a reservation, call anyway! After checking in with the dude in the plaid shirt, who seems to be the host and the occasional busboy, we waited about 30 minutes before getting seated outside at a table on the sidewalk. My sister and brother-in-law just got back from a trip in Europe and said it felt like it was their first night in Italy, eating dinner outside with tables haphazardly set up, late night with lit candles. The tables are all close together, too, so it was actually kinda cool! Though the service was so friendly and all around pretty suave, we did wait a while for 1. bread 2. waters 3. actual entrees. But I didn’t mind any of that much since I was in good company; on top of that, we were seated right outside the kitchen window, so we could hear the cooks inside laughing and singing. The atmosphere here is phenomenal. It’s packed, but it’s familial. I wasn’t hangry, annoyed or stressed; the servers did a great job of making sure we were tended to, and understood we waited. The owner walked around and made sure himself that each table was occupied in some way, so that was nice that he was involved. As for the most important thing… food. We ordered the crostini appetizer(and kinda wished we got the fresh burrata!), and it was delicious. Plenty of melty-y cheese. I got the special that day: saffron pappardelle with tomatoes, crab and scallops. The pappardelle was chewy and fresh, lots of flavor! The seafood was cooked just right and were still soft. It came with a great light tomato sauce, so you know the star of the dish was the pasta itself. My brother got the porcini pizza with truffle oil… and this was ridiculously good. The truffle is strong with this one, but not overdone. Plenty of sausages and mushrooms all over, so you aren’t wanting more and the crust is flaky and soft. It’s thin crust, of course, but still a good size to share if you’re feeling the pizza route. My sister got the pappardelle with lamb ragu, cause she’s a lamb fan. Same fresh pappardelle as my dish; simple tomato sauce with ground lamb. She loved it. All of our portions were large and we were VERY satisfied with our entire experience. The servers checked on us often, the food was great and the atmosphere was incomparable. Made me feel like I wasn’t in San Francisco. Great place! Bring a date, family or friends. :)

Food: 4⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Ambiance: 4⁄5 In the midst of the strip clubs, we found this gem of an Italian place after wandering around the busy streets of Broadway. After checking out the menu and enticed by the host standing outside, we decided to stop here for a late night dinner. The servers are all animated guys, often breaking into song throughout service. They always checked in on out and being from out of town, we asked them for recommendations on certain things which they gladly jotted down onto my iPhone for me. We ordered the Tonnarelli di Mare — House-made spaghetti with shrimp, calamari, arugula and fresh tomato in white wine sauce($ 18.95) and the Pizza ai Procini — porchini mushrooms, sausage, fresh mozza, and truffle oil($ 19.95). The pasta was the perfect texture and cook for my preference(slightly el dente) while the flavours of the seafood really shined through. The pizza is Roman style(very thin crust!) with tons of flavour. They also give you a jar of hot chili oil with pickled peppers that when added to the pizza really elevated its taste. For dessert we had the chocolate lava cake with a side of vanilla gelato and the panna cotta. Very rich and delicious — sadly we could not finish it all!

Seafood black ink squid pasta & lamb chops. Order it. This place is family ran. What does that mean? Friendly service, great atmosphere, and quality food. Imagine if your parents were making you dinner… it’s made with love! And I sincerely LOVE this place. The pasta is cooked perfectly. The right consistency to texture in every bite. The lamb chops were so deliciously tender. It didn’t have a gamey flavor to it. I want to lick the bones of that lamb chop all over again. One of my favorite Italian places.
