Fabulous drip coffee! I go almost daily if possible, although they’re closed Thursdays. Service is fabulous and the staff is super nice. Although they also have other delicious beverages, it’s tough to find drip coffee on Cortland and it’s just so good to have. And I don’t even have coffee or a coffee maker at home!

Dezy makes incredible, handmade chai, which she makes every morning. She even makes rose chai, which I’ve never seen anywhere before. So addictive! I go almost every Saturday morning to feed my craving for rose chai. There are also 3 other flavors of chai — almond, almond vanilla, and original. Don’t know which one to buy, ask for samples! Iced or hot chai, have it your way. While you’re there, you’ll also be tempted by Wholesome Bakery’s vegan treats. Read more at

I am full on addicted! What a wonderful find. The 331 Cortland ‘market’ is full of fabulosity — but this is my main woman. I’m a fan of juice and a huge fan of ginger, so I’ve been drinking the shit out of her ginger apple nettle beverage. It’s even good for you, like kombucha good for you but without the ick factor. I haven’t tried the chai yet, my other beverage of choice(non-alcoholic) because I make a damn fine chai of my own. However, I sense it’s pretty scrumptious, and with this ‘summer’ up here on the hill, toasty beverages are where it’s at. Oh yea, there’s also stuff for your sweet tooth: cookies, mini cupcakes & donuts, truffles & the like. But I just go for my nettle fix.

Dezy Drinks is one of the few local street vendors that specializes on drinks(like Urban Nectar, Egg Cream Cart, and the Chai Cart). See the extensive list of drinks she has available for catering on her blog( ). I usually see her cart/table at a few gatherings with Soul Cocina and other carts. For those who dislike chasing carts around the city, now u can get her drinks in one spot. Desiree has joined several other street food entrepreneurs at the 331 Cortland market(shares space with Wholesome Bakery). On my latest visit I got a refreshing cup of lavender lemonade($ 3.50). Enjoy! Hours(at market location): Tue-Sun 8am-8pm
