Specifically, they are open to legacy support for my specific issues, from brainstorming to integration. Unfortunately, my Alienware laptop screen went bad. I don’t have a light touch, so I know I can’t do this delicate work myself. So I decided I would bring it to this shop as I had a great previous experience. Went in, got a quote, agreed, and bam. I was on my way. Now, I know a screen replacement isn’t a walk in the park… especially on an Alienware… so I wasn’t expecting this to be done in a couple days. Anyway, I leave my computer there and he says he has to order parts or whatever, so check back in a week. I call David back a week later and ask for any updates, and they say they need to order something… I think it was like a new cover for the screen or something. I’m not quite sure what it was, but it was like 40 bucks, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. I just wanted my laptop fixed… Only problem was that they had to order it from china. lol. I have ordered parts for this laptop before(needed a new 6990m because the old one failed, and I had to order it from like Oceania or something lol), and it seems like the parts needed to fix this laptop are only sourced from countries outside the US. I hate Dell… I mean, Alienware. Anyway, they order the part, get it fixed a week or so later, and my Alienware laptop is functional again! Turnaround time was ok, but the biggest wait was just waiting from the parts to come in from china. Luckily they built my PC so I wasn’t in dire need of the laptop lol. Another happy customer!
