A very fun experience. Seating is first come, first serve. The theater is small and intimate. When we went, we saw three magicians, each with distinct styles. The first magician was good at storytelling and used music and props. The second magician focused on card tricks and used a couple people from the audience. The third magician used help from several people of the audience and had quite a funny and shocking ending. Sorry for being so vague because I don’t want to spoil any of the tricks. The small theater makes for a very personable and interactive experience. These aren’t the greatest magicians in the world, but they are engaging and entertaining. Definitely worth the price of admission. Fun for the whole family.

If I always expect the worst, I’m pleasantly surprised. And I wasn’t expecting the worst, because I’m a magic show geek. Al Catraz was actually really entertaining. I’ve always liked seeing magicians do their thing, bad or good, because to me, it’s the last great vaudeville. The tricks, with a few dashes of modern takes, are basically the same. And these magicians were all dedicated to making the holiday-crowd laugh. Al Catrez was a fun dude, the kind of guy you want to hang out with afterwards and hear great backstage stories.
