Charles Tow Service

I was referred to Charles Tow Service because I called Roberto’s Auto Rescue whose name is the first to pop up for towing. As it turns out, Roberto owns zero tow trucks and instead is a middleman to other towing companies. Roberto was pretty nice on the phone at first. On the way to the garage where my car was being towed, I found out they couldn’t actually take my car, so we had to go somewhere else. The wrecker driver said he knew another place, who I tried calling and they said they wouldn’t take me either. He personally spoke to them, and worked it out and got them to take me in. Awesome! On the way to the place, Roberto calls me back and asks what’s going on, and tries to charge me double since we had to make a slight detour. The driver said «Don’t worry about it» made a phone call, and all was good. Got me where I was going, and was overall just a really nice and helpful guy. Especially after dealing with Roberto.

This guy helped us out when we were really in a pinch. He even found us a safe spot outside our garage to park without getting towed or ticketed. Really, really appreciate his help. Especially late on a Saturday night.

Driving home from the peninsula, we got a flat tire less than 1 mile away from our house, at 11:30pm on a Saturday. AAA said that we were out of service until June but recommended Charles Tow. I typically Unilocal everything but given the time and my exhaustion level, I just called Charles.
Pastor picked up, gave me a reasonable quote, and was at our car within 20 minutes! First, he attempted to put our spare tire on our car, since our garage wouldn’t even be open until Monday, but explained that the screws from the original tire actually couldn’t hold the spare in place. So, after 10 – 15 minutes of getting the spare on for us, he removed the spare, put the original tire back on, hoisted the car and towed it to our favorite garage.
When he arrived in our garage, he let me know that the street cleaning /​tow away was at 4 AM on Monday morning, which is before the garage opens. He then offered to circle around to find better parking. He found a Tuesday morning Street cleaning spot, close to the garage.
Amazing above-​and-​beyond service, very prompt, even on the weekends, and great price (all of that was $ 75 + tip!) Highly, highly recommend!
