I opened up a new bakery in the Bay Area and searched everywhere for a business that sold chefs coats as well as embroidery services, and I was absolutely stuck! I don’t know why Cayson Designs didn’t pop up in my searches sooner, but I wish it had! One of my big concerns about ordering at a larger online store was everything fitting wrong, or finding out that they made cheap chefs coats. When I found Cayson I inquired about coming in for a fitting(they’re maybe 20 minutes away), and they immediately got back to me asking when I could come in; despite the fact that they are a more industrial set-up in a more industrial part of San Francisco, they have a lovely little area to try on coats. The next week I went in for a personal fitting with Rudy, who was lovely and picked the perfect jacket for me on his first try. I went for their promotion of buying two coats and getting the second 20% off. From there I continued to work with Rudy, who was an angel the entire time, on my logo. I continued to switch things around and he never rushed me along in the process. My coats were done absolutely beautifully, embroidery and the jacket itself, and I had them in time for my Launch Party. Five stars for Cayson Designs and Rudy!

Great quality, classic design bar and restaurant wear. Fast too! Online or order by phone. Did both and it was top service.

I’ve worked with Cayson Designs for 10+ years because the quality of their clothes. When schlepping for hours on end one simply needs to wear high quality as it keeps you going. Prior to Cayson we all had to wear 60⁄40 poly/cotton and it simply wasn’t pretty in a hot professional kitchen at the end of the day. Since Cayson Designs, my life in a hot kitchen has never been the same. I feel great and comfortable in a CD chef’s coat. AND, I look good too. In the big picture, these coats are inexpensive. They last much longer than any other coat I’ve ever used in 25+ years. I’d go back again and again for the quality alone but the customer service at Cayson is also simply over the top. These folks know what they are doing and are a solid asset to all cooking professionals.

You work in a restaurant 10 – 15 hours a day. Two things everyone should do. The first is change your socks. Seriously, I know your busy. I am too. But change your socks. It’s like starting fresh. It’s like coffee for your toes. I’m even thinking about getting a second set of kicks, for total daily refreshment. The second thing you gotta do is get your coats from Cayson Design. They fit perfect. Egyptian pima cotton is the only cotton for me. And they last. When your girlfriend or boyfriend asks you for a good gift idea, tell them about Cayson. Super friendly sales people too. They even came out to my restaurant to size up our crew. Cayson is the BEST!
