Friendly and welcoming cashier who are knowledgeable about prices. Never rude when ask a question. They have chicken and meat for sale too beside produce. Great neighborhood grocery store.

I call the front lady at the counter Tia. I walk in here to get little things and snacks and they are always so friendly. My local little grocery store is my favorite.

Great selection, their fruits and veggies are fresh (not the throwaway kinds you might find at other «mercados»). Mercados like Casa Lopez are one of the cheapest places to get your produce — forget Safeway!
And if you’ve never had «mexican bread» you must try it — it’s something you can only get at mercados like Casa Lopez. They’re basically mexican pastries, and they sell them by weight. they’re hard to describe — they must be tasted.
Another plus — parking is fairly easy. Win!

Casa Lopez is a wonderful market! They’ve got a pretty decent selection for your daily needs. The produce is always fresh, and the meat counter in the back is a rare commodity in the neighborhood. You are always greeted with a smile from the family that owns and operates the business. They listen to their customers and always try to add to their selection of products or services. THEY EVEN OFFER FREE DELIVERY TO SENIOR CITIZENS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. And offer a free gallon of milk (or some other product) when you buy $ 20 worth of groceries!!! Their brightly painted façade can’t be missed. So come down and shop locally!!!
