Had an amazing eatwith dinner at Vanessa’s home. The food was amazing, Vanessa and her husband were so welcoming and gracious– they managed to be social and interactive WHILE putting together this perfectly delicious meal! Every dish was delightful, lets just say I’m never going to bother making lasagne myself again. Looking forward to my next dinner at Casa Flores!!!

My boyfriend and I went to one of Vanessa’s dinners last week. Everything about the evening was incredible — the amazing food, wine and the company! We are DEFINITELY going back to one of Vanessa’s dinners and I can’t wait to try more of her tasting menus. Vanessa and Julian are a terrific team! We had a group of 14 and it was seamless! Two had dietary restrictions and they treated us with extra care. The food was DELICIOUS! I’d be back in a heartbeat if I lived closer.

This was our first eat with experience and it was superb. Vanessa and Julian were fantastic hosts, and the food was excellent. As soon as we arrived it felt like it was going to be a great evening, it was very easy talking to Vanessa and Julian and the home lent itself very well to the occasion with the layout. We highly recommend getting a seat at Casa Flores when you can even if it is just to try Vanessa’s fantastic pasta.

Hospitality led by delicious food, while mingling with locals and tourists alike. This husband and wife team have the EatWith experience mastered.

I must warn you, once you have eaten this food it will haunt your dreams. It is so darn good. Don’t skip over this place, it is truly special and worth many visits.

I found Vanessa/​Casa Flores when looking into my first EatWith dinner. Not only is she sweet and accommodating, but she is obviously a fantastic chef. Each dish was amazing and had its own unique flavor and texture. I wanted seconds of every course. The main dish was a hand-​pulled orecchiette with short ribs and just thinking about it makes my mouth water. Looking forward to attending another dinner with her in the future!

This is our first eatwith dining adventure and it was magnificent! It was a cold, rainy evening in SF and we showed up at Vanessa and Julian’s lovely home in Nob Hill and were greeted with a fantastic dinner experience. Vanessa did an amazing job. We had very crispy and tasty mushroom arancini to start followed by, a beautiful fall salad with persimmon, roasted squash and pumpkin seeds. Very balanced。
The second course was fresh made pasta with home made pesto. This dish was so good. The pasta was light, el dente and the pesto just tied it all together. Next we had the ribeye with brown butter. It was super tender and full flavor. I have to say it was a lot better than many of the hyped up overpriced SF restaurants. I won’t name which, but I’m sure you can easily draw up a good list yourself. And to finish, we had what I can only describe was a very thoughtful and well executed dessert. Salted caramel dark chocolate flan with toasted hazelnuts. Can’t beat that!
Overall, had a wonderful time and great introduction into dining at chefs home. It’s relaxing, we got to make new friends all accompanied by merriment, laughter, and wine. Julian was a perfect host and Vanessa was an excellent hostess and chef. Definitely want to try one Vanessa’s other menus soon.

Vanessa and Julian were super welcoming and made us feel like we were at home. The food was just amazing, especially the appetizers (the grilled polenta and endive spears). Their home is super cute and open. I would love to come back again sometime.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The beef entrée was amazing and the chocolate dessert was so good it should be illegal.

Vanessa and Julian are the warmest hosts I’ve ever had. Their house is beautiful and cozy. They make you feel at home. Vanessa’s food is delicious, but her pastas steal the show! AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back!

This is hands down the best supper club experience I’ve ever had! Vanessa and her husband Julian made me feel right at home from the start and I had a lovely time meeting everyone at the dinner. Every dish at Casa Flores was so delicious and I’m a huge fan of her homemade pasta. The highlights were definitely the sous vide ribeye steak, topped with rendered bone marrow butter and the lovely dark chocolate mousse with raspberry purée. I also love how Vanessa and Julian sat down with their guests and shared their stories with us — it definitely made the dinner feel more intimate and special!
I can’t remember how many times I’ve raved about Vanessa’s dinner to my friends after and I look forward to going back to Casa Flores for many more meals soon. Thanks again Vanessa and Julian!

Just had the most amazing dinner. Vanessa and Julien were awesome. We had the best time. Will definitely be dining again in their home! We booked through EatWith. It allowed us to meet people from all over the city and the world.

Vanessa is an amazing chef and her food is to die for! I couldn’t have asked for better hospitality and professionalism at Casa Flores. My friend and I were greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of Prosecco accompanied by the most delicious risotto balls and Belgian endive spears. The main dish was a mouth watering Butternut squash ravioli that we just couldn’t get enough of. What really made this experience fabulous was the fact that chef Vanessa and her husband Julian were able to sit down and chat with us so we really got a feel for the passion that went into the dinner and overall experience. Highly recommend visiting Casa Flores — i’ll be back for sure!

I had an amazing dinner at Casa Flores! From the moment I walked in, I felt very welcomed and what a great space! The appetizers were brought out soon after I arrived and were absolutely delicious! There was a perfect amount of time until dinner, giving us guests time to mingle. Everyone was so friendly and I enjoyed the many interesting conversations. Dinner was served and did not disappoint. My favorites were the rib eye, cooked to perfection and the homemade pasta, so fresh, flavorful and with just the right amount of bite. I left satisfied and glad I went; it was a great time paired with absolutely stunning and delicious food. Chef Vanessa and Julian-​you guys rock! Thank you so much. I can’t wait for your next dinner!

I had an amazing time at Vanessa’s! We found her through EatWith and were sold immediately after reading the menu. The food was fantastic — much better than the typical Italian fare I’ve found around SF thus far. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. I cannot wait to go back.
