The food is great. Maxx makes you feel welcome, as if he’s having guests over. He was friendly, offered suggestions for me when I was unsure what to order. I will definitely be back.

Loved the breakfast wrap! Can’t wait to try the gyros, rotisserie chicken, and spanakopita! I’m Greek and this is going to tickle my fancy! They have baklava! Nothing beats baklava and coffee!

One of the freshest falafel on a pitas I’ve had in the City. Very friendly man behind the counter. Can’t wait to back for another and some other tasty Med treats.

Nice place for breakfast. We came here at 8:30 and the friendliness of the owner is what sets this place apart. The breakfast was what you would expect. It’s nice to be able to have something light and tasty on a Saturday morning aside from the typical eggs and cheese at most other places.

Great customer service, however, I think they can do better. It did the job.

Delicious Middle Eastern food served up by a kind and lovely man. Came in here just to use the ATM and so glad I got food here. Enjoying a plate with chicken, rice and tabbouleh. He customized it just for me which I appreciate. No frills and just what I needed for a healthy lunch that feels authentic and home-cooked.

staying up the street, wandered out for some breakfast and stumbled across this little café… max(i’m guessing the owner) immediately greeted us and went all-out to make us happy no matter what, going off-menu for my partner and checking back a couple of times to make sure all was well. inexpensive and TASTY. really a nice experience.

First time I had a wrap, it was not terrible but certainly not remarkably good. Today, I debated going back in for a while and finally decided to get something to eat. What I ordered: plain bagel, toasted, with cream cheese and sausage(which they advertise in the meat section of their menu). Pitas, you’re a nice guy, but hot dogs are not breakfast sausage. Blech.

Great food, amazing customer service, and relatively good prices! Great experience overall and highly recommend it The worker gave us our food, recommended us to sit and enjoy our food before paying. Was a very different experience than any restaurant I’ve been to. Held friendly conversation with us and made this place very unique.

It’s just a ham egg and cheese breakfast wrap(on lavash bread, which is unique), but the owner always greets me with such a pleasant smile that he deserves a great recommendation. A+ for service.

Mediocre food at best, I’ve had better Gyros(definitely in Greece, and certainly in the Bay Area also). I went(past tense) because it is near my office. Why one star? During my last visit to this establishment I waited patiently in line, and when it came my turn to place an order, the elderly gentleman behind the counter did acknowledge me… but then proceeded to take the order of(not one but) three men behind me. I’m a busy professional and don’t expect any special treatment, but after waiting in line to place an order I expect to be served, not skipped over. For such poor treatment, I’m never going back to this place. You have lost one nearby office worker/customer forever who probably would have been back many times over successive years!

Lavash praise. After such a delicious egg white(thanks!), hummus, cucumbers and tomatoes in lavash breakfast wrap, consider it a thematic spelling error. Yours for just $ 5. Morning perked up further with an impressively smooth triple shot sugar free hazelnut Americano. Just the right amount of caffeine, flavor and price($ 3). Saved for later and thoroughly enjoyed when the time came was a half rotisserie chicken. Not a bad bird for a very not bad $ 5 price. Friendly gentleman from a few years back is still running the place. He deserves lots of praise.

This review is for the Mediterranean Deluxe Mezza Platter, for that’s what I always order. It’s a good way to try the great variety of food which Pita’s offers. At $ 7.00, it’s reasonably priced for the amount of food. The tabouli salad is great, as are the falafel, hummus and dolmas. The baba ghanouj is amazing! They also offer breakfast, sandwiches, salads and wraps. The quinoa salad is good. The café is cosy. On Saturdays, it’s quiet, and one could enjoy one’s food peacefully or speak to the friendly owner. It’s a nice spot in an area with not many options. They also offer party platters, which would be great for events.

This place is amazing. Max is the man and his hospitality is as warm as his banana bread. Highly recommend the breakfast croissant sandwich. Try anything he bakes such as the banana bread or blueberry muffins all of which will melt in your mouth. Amazing place.

This eatery is a small place across the street from a Sutter Health Medical Office. I ordered the Shawarma Wrap. It didn’t resemble a Shawarma… it was un-Shawarma like. The meat used was kinda skimpy, and the size of said Shawarma was fun-sized. I probably needed two more to quench my hunger that afternoon. However, the flavors were good and the hot sauce they used was tangy and mild in heat. I like the owner as he is quick-witted and very friendly. I’ll try their falafel wrap next time.

I’m always on the lookout for a good gyros. I guess I’m just used to my native Chicago, where a Greek joint with a big, fat gyros is seemingly waiting on every other corner.(Except in Greektown, where it’s every corner and 24⁄7 at a few places. This place had the gyros sign right out front, with a picture of a properly dressed gyros. My usual rule is that if you don’t the see gyros meat on a spit right out front, don’t order it. Turns out what I thought was the spit in the corner was actually a rotisserie. Oops. I uploaded a pic of what they call gyros. I wanted the one in the window picture! Not this thing. Two scrawny pieces of meat, that looked like it came from a bag in the fridge. No feta, no freakin’ tzatziki! This thing was so wet from tomatoes and the goofy red sauce that the pita fell apart. Sorry, for $ 9 for«gyros”/chips/can of soda, I can do better…

This place has some of the best Falafel wraps I have ever had. Everything make it fresh and fast. The wraps are decently priced at around $ 5-$ 6. Friendly service!

My review is only for a breakfast I had here recently. Small coffee and(plain) bagel with cream cheese amounted to a little bit over $ 4. That’s pretty high in my book. Canister coffee was very weak. But there is brown sugar available. No whole wheat bagel available. Just plain and«everything». Props to the very friendly owner. There is free wifi, but I didn’t use it.

It seems like a lot of the reviews on here are old and outdated so I figured I would write mine to help course correct. There was a decent amount on the menu(not huge, decent) so I was having trouble deciding. Seeing me stand there for a few moments, the owner politely gave me a recommendation of the Rotisserie Half Chicken and Rice. He then told me to sit down and he’d bring it to me. It’s a small deli inexpensive type place so that’s amazing service for this type of place. I expected him to ring me up right away like most delis do, but he didn’t make me pay until after I had finished. You don’t immediately see all the seating but there are 3 small tables outside, 4 or 5 inside, and a counter that faces the window. I also noticed the free wi-fi login & password is printed out and placed next to every table so you don’t have to go thru the hassle of asking someone for the info. Even though I was in for lunch kind of late, the chicken tasted fresh and delicious and the rice with lentils was quite good as well. The older man/owner was friendly and delightful and made me feel like a regular even though I had never been there before. Really a charming conversationalist. He even gave change for the meter to a non-customer.
