I’d give it a 5 if unemployment was fun, but it’s not. But every employee was pleasant, understanding, and helpful. I was literally there for 20 minutes total, and that was only because I got there too early. Had I gotten there right on the dot, I would have only been there for 3 minutes. Seriously. I’m sure things don’t always go that smoothly, but if you are nice and can explain your situation clearly & prove that you know how to look for a job, you’ll be out of there in no time. They really just want people there who truly NEED the help with a job search.

There is a Career Link on Turk, but you have to go to the one on Franklin Street(just around the corner) for reemployment and eligibility assessment appointments. I was worried that this was going to take forever, and that they were going to make me fill out a bunch of stupid forms and tell me things about finding a job that I already know — but the whole thing lasted 10 minutes, the guy was friendly, very understanding and understood that I already knew how to find a job and had already been in contact with recruiters. A great experience, although parking was a little tough to find, and the appointment did start 10 minutes late after I busted my butt to get there on time, so minus 1 star for that.
