Eeek… Eat at your own risk! The only reason I ever went here, was for its convenience. My office is next door and I used to always stop here for the breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and coffee. I loved their sausage breakfast sandwiches. I ate here, pretty much almost every day, until the lady who makes the sandwiches dropped a bag of about 20 – 30 bagels on the floor(I assumed that she would pick them up and throw them out) but no… SHEPICKEDTHEMUPANDPUTTHEMBACKONTHECOUNTERTOSELLTHEMRIGHTINFRONTOFME! I asked her, «You’re throwing those out, right?!» And she looked at me with a smirk on her face and said, «They’re fine!» I told her, no it’s not fine, especially until the food and safety inspection department finds out! NO! NO! NO!

This place is awful. No wonder there’s never a line. The guy in front of me returned his coffee because it wasn’t hot. My coffee was so hot I couldn’t hold it even with the heat protector thing around it. The«large» is like a small size anywhere else, that’s why it seems so cheap. I had to buy another item to make the credit card $ 6 minimum so I purchased a tiny, overpriced fruit salad. Would not recommend this place to anyone. I am embarrassed for them, really.

I ordered the turkey, noodle, vegetable soup along with the hot breakfast. I arrived around 10 minutes later than the expected pickup time. The server immediately knew about my order when I mentioned that I was there for pickup. She did not have the soup prepared yet, since she wanted to make sure the soup was warm when I got it. The breakfast sandwich with sausage was good, but I expected some scrambled egg with it per description on the website. The soup was very tasty, however. She also made sure I had enough napkins & utensils.

There are only two reasons to eat here: Freshly baked Banana Bread or Freshly made homemade blueberry or banana muffins around 7am. Second, they can make a bagel sandwich with cheese, an egg, and a sausage patty. Or they can do this on an english muffin or a croissant. It’s warm and it hits the spot in the morning. Minus one star for the TOOALDENTE vegetarian chow mein. EWW

I only really get the breakfast sandwich with sausage here. ‘Cause it’s good. By the time I reach the office, the cheese has melted. Melty cheese with a salty sausage patty and a poached egg on toasted english muffin. What’s not to like? One time the cheese was strangely… coagulated. Someone new(or someone I’d never seen working there before) must have microwaved the cheese with the sausage. Ick, greasier sandwich than usual. I’ve had the ham version of the sandwich, but the ham get’s water and makes the bread soggy. So stick with the sausage. They’ve got a large selection of chips and if I’m feeling spendy, I’ll grab a naked juice. But really, I’m there for the breakfast sandwich.

So let’s get something straight; I think Subway’s meatballs are nasty. But Leah II’s? She takes subway’s nasty cake away and frosts it with rained-on cat poop. Then charges a buck more for it. I rarely throw food away, but today I threw away half of the meatball sandwich as soon as I’d finished the first. Then I ran over to Lee’s and ordered a cheaper pastrami with onions to get the taste out of my mouth. I really don’t know why I give these small, neglected delis a chance at all. This one clearly deserves to be as deserted as it was at 11:30. Specifics: Day-old bread, frozen-then-nuked meatballs, suspicious and cold marinara sauce, huge bay leaf in the first bite, no condiments or vegetation offered or proffered. I don’t think a single thing was right with this sandwich. I’ll take the second-nastiest meatballs and the pretty-good bread at Subway over this swill.

First impression… it looks like an Asian market. Stuff is scattered everywhere. I was served by a lady in her 60s+. She had a permanent frown on her face. She didn’t want to talk to me too much. Just wanted to know what I wanted and that’s it. I got an Italian Sausage sandwich — 6 bux… I guess that’s ok… tho I know I can go to Specialty’s and get a better sandwich for the same price. I was going to get an Odwalla, but with a sticker price(actually I had to ask the price) just shy of $ 4, it wasn’t worth it. I didn’t dislike it, but I probably won’t go back.

I hate this place. It’s absolutely disgusting. The coffee is cold, even though it’s kept in a thermos, and the food is far below average. All of their pastries are store bought from Costco(trust me, I am a Costco whore and I would recognize those muffins if they slapped me) and their«organic flax granola» is nothing more than a mix of Fiber One cereal with freeze-dried blueberries. Don’t even try the advertised«all-natural fat free frozen yogurt». I’ve tried all the generic flavors(chocolate, vanilla and kona coffee) and even the pistachio specialty. They are equally bad. Not only are they way too sweet, but they melt fairly quickly, which makes me suspect a problem with their frozen yogurt machine. Let’s not even mention the fact that it’s $ 5 for a medium cup(which is actually smaller than the palm of your hand). If you want slightly less crappy food, go to Portico Restaurant one door down.

There is one easy way for a place to get four stars — take my inquiry about the health content of their offerings seriously. Like this morning at Café Leah. I wanted to know if the yogurt in the parfait was lowfat, they thought so(which is usually good enough), but in this case went into the back to double check. It was actually nonfat, and I appreciated the gesture. If you get one, enjoy the honey surprise at the bottom. Tasty.

Hate to have to drop a star, but after paying $ 7 for a simple turkey and bacon sandwich… I don’t think I’ll be getting my sandwiches from here again for a while. Like I said before, it seems like they’re making up the price of the sandwich as they go along. How much I pay depends on who made it. I’ve paid as low as $ 5.35 for this same kind of sandwich before, but today was ridiculous.

Had a roast beef sandwich. [HILLSHIREFARM. GOMEAT! ] It was kinda. pricey? 8 dollars for a pretty small sandwich, I believe. Came with all the fixings, even though you could build one yourself. ONIONS! WOOWOOWOO! Yeah yeah. This place isn’t the greatest. ITALSOHASFROYO! But no toppings. Never tried it. Ain’t gonna have no froyo with no mochi balls, yo!

Standard sandwich place but I had Moussaka that came with a salad. They did not heat it up properly and was still kinda cold. Baked to heat it up when I got home for dinner and it was tasty! Split pea soup with ham was good but a bit too thick for my taste…

I’m not a huge fan, but it’s convenient. They get their food from the same place I get my food — Costco. Once I was desperate to get some water for a meeting. They charged me $ 35 for a few bottles! I felt so ripped off, but oh well I didn’t pay for it. I hate that feeling — knowing I can buy the same case of water at Costco for more than half of that price. Or the bag of chips that they marked up the price on, or anything else for that matter. At least the staff is friendly. I agree about the thai iced teas — that’s probably what keeps me going back.

they have decent breakfast sandwiches and they turned me onto naked juice, which isn’t as good as odwalla but still better than tropicana. they have decent lunches especially anything dealing w/pork. i usually don’t remember them for lunch though…

Cheap lunch and breakfast, food is simple fare, but always prepared well and the service is always friendly and fast. Their fresh-baked banana bread, doled out in substantially thick slices, tastes just like home-made. moist and über banana-y!

This place has delicious, enormous fresh-baked blueberry muffins the morning. I think I’m in love. Their coffee selection is just fine, though they only have styrofoam cups, which I do not like. And on the styrofoam cup of coffee you have to put one of those flimsy lids which inevitably, when you try to tear it open, spills coffee down your clothes and then flips you in the face when you try to drink. The service is always very friendly and good. And now the girl with the soft voice has a name tag on her shirt that says something like: THISISMYVOICE. I DONOTHAVELARYNGITIS, I NATURALLYSOUNDLIKETHIS. So don’t ask.
