Boucheron makes Tiffany’s stuff look like cheap junk!
I just happened to luck upon this is a one of kind French Jewelry store in the USA, that sells this über-​priced ultra-​fine jewelry, one day a few years back when I could afford a special treat. It is hiding between the Sak’s Fifth Ave. Men’s Store and Ecco on Post Street, according to Goggle Map. Even though their website list other dealers who may sell some of their art, they did tell me that this SF location was a unique stand alone full service boutique.
When I walked in, I was the only customer for awhile, and received a warm welcome. You can tell right away that this was a place where you could easy blow several thousand dollars on even their lower priced options. The Jewelry was like fine art to me, and looked like it belong in a museum.
To my surprise, they treated me almost like royalty, and were not snobbish at all. I felt really comfortable taking a look at various glorious pieces of art, many of which were way out of my price comfort zone. I doubt that they had anything under a few thousand dollars, so you really have to have a great bonus or a great tax refund to get anything here (unless you are Über-​rich). I would definitely say that their new jewelry rivals or exceeds the quality of most so-​called Heirloom Jewelry.
My only disappointment was that they did not seem to carry much in the way of rare Star Sapphires, nor Star Rubies… but quality Stars are now extremely rare & hard to find. I was fortunate to find & own two rather lovely Star stones, that I found many years ago. One from a jewelry show in Hawaii (where the stones came direct from Burma), and the other came from a Heirloom piece that I found in a small shop in Santa Rosa. Decades ago, I did travel to Thailand and did buy a rather small Star Sapphire, but was a disappointing rip-​off. You live & learn.
Their pieces were so beautiful, I just could not leave Boucheron without getting something. Since I was always open to a new unique extra wedding band, I spied this rather unique Quad-​colored Gold Masterpiece for about $ 3k+. I had never seen a small classy ring for men like this before, nor after, and frequently get compliments on it.
Absolutely no one can guess the origin, nor price of this unique men’s ring. I find it shameful that the vast majority of men’s jewelry is as boring as hell.
I had my original wedding ring set made by a local artist in a small shop in Hawaii where I picked an island flower open weave pattern and a color-​change Sapphire for my bride. Those pieces took me three years to pay off, but it was worth it.
I was on their email list for awhile until I took myself off, since most of their special items cost more than most luxury cars.
Anyway, I think that this place is worth a look just to see what really beautiful unique jewelry is like.
If you buy something from this place, it will likely be something that you can pass from generation to generation.

…then I would go treat yourself to a fine Yummy dinner at Gary Danko’s (one of my fav’s), while you show off your new ring & then either stay at the President’s Suite (which is Fantastic) at the Fisherman’s Wharf Hyatt, or «suffer at the Ritz-​Carlton» (both have their virtues after a Lux shopping spree in Union Square).

Beautiful, unique pieces. A gorgeous store. Employees are elegant and helpful. Came here recently for an event, and had so much fun. They had signature candles burning that smelled amazing. Love.

Luxurious. From the chocolate suede covered walls down to their signature fragrance, this French jewelery store oozes decadent high style. Where else in the world is a girl going to get a black gold and emerald crusted poison ring, or a gilded serpent collar. You’ll never set foot in Tiffany’s again.
