This is a very interesting bar. The most memorable moments was the door man Tim. He was a very young kind gentleman.

They’re a dive martini bar. Awesome selection. The Dagwood is brunch in a martini glass. Didn’t go there. But respect.

I love this place. Hubby and I come here quite often. We love their chocolate martinis. They have two. Mint kid and almond mocha. For $ 15 you get a full glass, good for two pours into the martini glass Music is topic 40s and hip hop. Old school hip hop before 10. Best night I think it’s Friday night. I brought my girlfriends here tonight and danced the night away. Have to get up early so bailing now. One of my girlfriend just moved here and she loved this place. We will be back!

Ok… this is more of historical review, since I have been coming here for several years. I will only come here with those that can handle their drink. Professionals only. Blondies always seems to be open… and whether it is crowded or empty, it is always inviting. It is a dive bar, but stands up to that in every way. The bartenders are very accommodating and they have always taken care of me and my parties. On occasion, we have had customer martini’s created based on our cravings. Cash only, but ATM on site. Very close to Bart… don’t drive(be safe and have fun).

Decent prices, okay space. It was pretty crowded. Drinks were fine. The melon martini was delicious. Definitely go to the back bar, especially if you feel like you need a break from all the people! Do played an odd mix of some great songs and some relatively unknown ones. Not dying to come back.

I have died and gone to martini heaven! The drinks here are strong(like, how did I get home and where did I wake up) strong. They give you the extra portion in another shaker with a strainer so you end up getting at least two drinks for the price of one. The martini possibilities are endless and they always have great live music here. Great ambiance and great location!

Fun place for a great time and cheap drinks. The best and most memorable thing about this place is that drinks are less than $ 10 and the portions are huge. If you get anything that’s served in a martini glass, they give you the extra in a glass with a strainer. So you’re basically getting two(pretty strong) drinks for the price of one. What’s to complain? My friend got the Ruby Red which I thought was delicious and definitely what I’m going for next time I’m back. I got the Moscow Mule which was fine — definitely on the strong side. The place is pretty clean actually. It seems divey but it was actually a pretty fun scene. tldr; super cheap, delicious drinks at a fun bar — I dig it

Blondie’s has been really hit-or-miss for me — like I should only hit it on weekdays and miss it on weekends. Sometimes on Friday or Saturday they’ll only have one bartender, who couldn’t possibly keep up with demand, so then everybody gets crappy, watery drinks. Conversely, weeknights when it’s calmer and they’re playing jazz, a few friendly regulars hang around and it’s an awesome spot for a date or drinks with friends.

Great bar to start at if you’re in the Mission. I was very surprised to see how much one cocktail equates to here. You’ll get your drink in a large martini glass along with the leftovers in a full pint glass. All this for $ 12.50 during Happy Hour. The drinks aren’t much more than sugar and alcohol here, but for the price you can’t go wrong. The bartenders here also make the drinks very strong. My favorite drink was the Deep blue, a little more sour than the others and tasted like a blue icee. I’d recommend this place if you’re looking to get a buzz going.

I have been to Blondie’s a half-a-dozen times and I have had a great time dancing every single time! The music has always been awesome. Every time I was there the DJ did such a good job of mixing and created a good rhythm and transition from one song to another. Never a dull moment. Most weekends I’ve been there’s been a cover charge. NOTE — Cash ONLY bar!!!

Such a great bar with A+ for ambiance. Good vibes. Brought my dad and 3 friends here since I had heard nothing but great things about this place. This was all of our first time coming here. We stopped in around 8pm on a Saturday night. Not too packed yet(but when we walked by later it was slammed!) I ordered the Dimlit Gimlet which is so so yummy. You get one martini glass full, then basically another drink and a half(in a separate glass). Who woulda thunk? All for $ 13. Not too shabby. Such a fun bar. Can’t wait to come back!

Oh wow. Wow wow wow wow. This place is a recipe for disaster. A beautiful disaster. I came here with a group of friends to finally try some of those amazing martini’s I’ve been hearing about. I ordered The«G-Spot», which is Stolichnaya Raspberry Cosmo garnished with a lemon twist. The drink was phenomenal. Too good. It tasted like fresh juice, was so refreshing, and I was convinced she forgot to put in the alcohol! I called over the bartender and asked her how much vodka was in it — she said a half pint! You know it’s a high quality drink when you can barely taste a HALFPINT of vodka in it. Their drinks come in double, maybe even triple form. You got a full martini glass, and a full pint on the side. 3 in 1 basically. Convinced I was Super-Man, I ended up drinking 2 of these, totaling 6. Let’s just say these martinis came in like a wrecking ball — I got the giggles, starting talking loud and the rest is history.

WORSTBARTENDEREVER — he was the actual worst. We asked for a lemon drop which they said was they’re specialty which it wasn’t. It was gross and when we asked to change to another drink the bartender said no and that we must pay 45 dollars for the drinks that we took maybe one sip of. After asking for another drink and being denied we had to 45 In addition — the guest singer ACTUALLY thought he was an Elvis impersonator in Vegas.

I went to Blondie’s recently with a group of friends and was blown away by the service we were provided by the bartender James! I have been to Blondie’s before and always have had a nice time, but this was the first time with James behind the bar. I’ve only written a couple of Unilocal reviews but I had to this time :) James was the only bartender when a group of us came in for happy hour on a Friday afternoon. The bar filled up quickly as did the booths to the side and seats by the window. James was very attentive to all of the customers, giving each of us time and patience while we gawked at the board trying to decide which yummy martini to choose. I was being very indecisive and James helped me pick the perfect martini! I have worked in the industry myself as have most of my friends. It takes a great bartender to not only make a delicious drink but to also have this level of customer service. James I hope you are working when I visit again!

My favorite bar in SF! I love the martinis here. The Dagwood is a martini with every kind of garnish, including about 7 kind of olive, peril onion. a green bean, and an asparagus. The martinis are made in a pint glass, filled to the top, shaken and then pours as much as they can in a martini glass, followed by handing you the rest of the martini left in the pint glass. So you roughly get 2.5 martinis for one price. It is roughly $ 14 for one martini. The Dagwood is suppose to be a gin martini, but you can ask them to substitute the gin for vodka(that’s what I did). They have a HUGE menu on a chalk board above the bar with all their martinis. They do a lot of gin and vodka martinis, and then secondly they do some sweet/girly martinis, However their sweet/girl drinks are just as strong as the regular martinis. My other favorite here is the Deep Blue Funk. It really does taste like a Blueberry Freezie Pop. Yum! The best time to go, really depends on your preference. If you looking for a chill/quiet place place to grab a drink with friend/date, then come anytime before 10:00pm. If your looking for that crowded bar scene, then come here after 10:00pm on a Friday or Saturday. Lastly, Bring Cash. This is a Cash ONLY Bar. They do however have an ATM inside if you forgot your cash, but it charges a high fee.
