I cam here by accident. I was planning to go to Buckhorn Grill since a friend gave free coupons. I decided to go here since I was craving burgers. BADIDEA. The burger was dry. There was no sauce, moisture, oil and anything to make the burger juicy, The fries were soggy and so little. The milkshake was 6 dollars but look like it came from the dollar menu of McDonalds. To small and not enough chocolate. Next time, stick to your plans Alek and do not divert yourself to this scam. Buckhorn grill could have been so much better!

It is a so so place to eat burger. Wait time is long, and burger tastes so so… And that garlic fries is disappointing! It is just like French fries adding a little bit garlic sauce on it…

Okay I don’t have a problem with the food — The problem is $ 16 for a lunch ?!!(burger with the combo) I hadn’t been here in probably 3 – 4 months and it has always been a little pricey but come on… I think this is beyond the point of being worth it

I got the mini burgers and they’re were very delicious except the fact that the bacon cheeseburger was too much like the texture and look of the bacon. Garlic fries is so good!!! & we got a chocolate banana smoothie which was just super delicious

EEEEEK! A mouse! Yes, right in the middle of a very mediocre lunch. A couple of bites in and Mighty Mouse arrogantly strolls through the ordering line and into the kitchen. Dropped the burger and high tailed it out of there. Won’t be back any time soon.

Ordered a blue cheese burger on lettuce to go. Got a burger with lettuce and tomato. Nothing of the blue cheese, onions or sauce.

I love Bistro Burger’s cajun chicken sandwich, but what was already an expensive meal(sandwich + fries + beverage) around $ 13 – 14 has now increased to around $ 17. I asked about the increase and was told that their produce supplier increased their prices by $ 2 – 3 so they had to increase their prices. Ummm… did you even look for another supplier??? Now, I totally get that you need to offset those costs, but when one week goes by and I’m suddenly paying $ 17 for LUNCH… I won’t be returning. I’d imagine that Bistro Burger is going to lose quite a bit of business over this move. It should have been a gradual increase. Super Duper has opened up less than one block away and I can get a super fresh burger, fries, and beverage for under $ 12. Easy decision for me. Bad move, Bistro Burger.

I’m going to have to drop my review down to 2 stars. I hate to give 2 star reviews, but the prices keep going up, but the quality remains the same. A burger combo with a side and a drink will now run you around $ 14 and the burgers just are not very good. They are not bad, but for $ 14, I can’t justify it. There are so many other burger places that are better, or that give you more bang for your buck. Soda is soda, so not much to review there. The buns are far from anything special. The meat is still nothing special for me. They have a good assortment of toppings, but nothing that wows me. I don’t really like the regular fries, the curly fries and onion rings are good, but for 14 bones, I can go get a nice sit down burger somewhere with fries and a drink. I don’t go to super duper often, but you can get better much food there for around the same price or less. I would not advise ordering ahead. Your fries will almost certainly be soggy.

Terrible all around. I asked for medium, got rare.(I am not squeemish, but I’m talking very undercooked.) I asked for cheddar, got jack. The bottom bun was soaking wet… not sure why, because the meat was totally dry. No flavor. If I had not already hiked back to my office, I’d have asked for a refund. And sorry, but for $ 10.30 and given that the burger itself is less-than-average, I should also get fries. I’d suggest avoiding it — plenty of other burger options in the FiDi.

Great burger joint! A lot of unique and great tasting burgers! I found myself going there 4 days in a row until I realized I gained a few pounds. But it was verrry good. Hidden gem

Bistro Burger has great variety and great taste! The prices are a bit steep($ 9-$ 13 each), but if I ever have a hankering for a different type of burger or a delicious milkshake, I’ll be sure to come here. They’ve got a wide array of selection — I personally ordered the mahi mahi burger, which was perfectly paired with chipotle mayo and salsa. Their sweet potato fries were also very simple, but delicious. I’ll be back for more!

I’ve been on the Whole 30, so eating out is a pain. Still, my buddy told me to get a burger in a lettuce wrap, so I went here. One very boring, dry, unseasoned, overcooked burger, one slice of tomato, wrapped in a wilted piece of lettuce. Nothing on it. Just goes to show that if you don’t smother the burger in bacon, cheese, ketchup and mustard, you are left with a chewy piece of cardboard. Plus, I had a «funny tummy»(a euphemism for you know what) afterwards.

The Burger gets a «B» rating Fries an «A» seems like a business trying to do what S.D.B. is doing but not as good.

This is by far one of the worst burgers in the area. The meat has very little flavor. The burger has been so cooked to death that you must add no less than two table spoons of mayo and the bun is worthless. They usually get your order right which is nice. Unfortunately, at this time there is no competition.

I go here all the time for the mahi mahi, one thing I do see is that the chef uses the same hand for touching the raw and cooked meats. I saw him put my Fish on the grill, touch the fridge and put curly fries(which are nice) then get a turkey burger patty and put it on the grill and then 2 beef patties with the same hand then use that hand to put the mahi on my bun… If it was not for that I would give it 5 stars

Was really hoping for more than I got. The burger was just okay, but shredded lettuce? what am I? a rodent? The tots I had were good, but it’s pretty hard to screw up deep frying potatoes. I’m not impressed. The value wasn’t there, the food wasn’t worth the price, the service was ok(read, there was a cute gal behind the counter who was definitely into me. Truth be told, she just wanted to talk to me… well ok, take my order… all right all right, she may have told me to go away because I was holding up the line, but you get my point) and the lunch-time crowd was in full effect. Wouldn’t be my first choice for lunch given the wide variety of offerings within walking distance.

I get that I ordered on an app and picked up not long before the place closed, but… 1) If you order a pineapple burger, it’s always nice not to have the pineapple fermenting to the point of possibly being alcoholic 2) It takes 5 people working there to decide who is going to walk the foot from where the food is under a heat lamp to the counter where it’s being picked up 3) Soda from the combo meal? Completely forgotten, but i guess I have to forgive that because you are probably still trying to figure out who should pour it 4) Food ordered at 2:09 and picked up at 2:30 — already cold and soggy? Seriously. I can get a better tasting meal at 7 – 11 for about a third of the price.

I just have to say that today has been one of the best days for me in a while, professionally, but Bistro Burger was kind of a let down. However it did not squash my high spirits from all the good vibes coming my way from other avenues! My old pal Jeremy P and I were considering our lunch options as we both wanted lunch beers, but I’ve been on pizza overload lately, so we got Torpedos at Escape From NY and sat outside with our lunch from Bistro Burger. He had the Daily Special: a burger, fries, and fountain drink for $ 10, and he subbed his regular fries for curly fries for an extra buck and seemed happy enough with his choice. I got the Hot Link which looked great in the picture: like a real Chicago dog. Sadly, ’twas not all that it could be. The«hot» link was neither spicy nor hot temperature wise. It was a little warm and the bun that held the weenie was one of those Safeway hot dog buns you eat at the kid’s table at family BBQs: there’s nothing wrong with them, but for $ 9, I would expect something better, like a soft sourdough roll? Maybe it’s just me. I did like that it had a pickle, tomatoes, and onions on top, but someone needs to learn how to cook a hot link. It wasn’t even charred, which is(hopefully) everyone’s preferred way to eat a hot link, and part of what makes a hot link so good. This is what I get for straying from pizza for one day.

3 stars because this place is just«A-OK» as Unilocal puts it. For $ 12 for a burger and fries, it was alright. The burger was made okay, the bacon wasn’t crisp and almost tasted like refried bacon. Their fries weren’t warm at all and were a bit soggy. This place is an alright place to stop by to but for the quality of the food versus how much I pay, I’d rather go somewhere else.

This place definitely hits the spot whenever you feel like a juicy, well-made burger in the Financial District during lunch hours! Their California burger is a classic here, but if you feel like you need a bit of sweet and sour in your life with a burger, the pineapple cheddar burger is the one for you! They also offer chicken burgers too! I love how they offer garlic and curly fries — both flavors on how I love my fries preferably combined! Onion rings are fried to a perfect crisp! They have salads and milkshakes as well! Your tab would average about 12 bucks — depending on what you order up. Condiments and pickles are served on the side. There is spacious dining area inside and outside I enjoyed the burger so much. Food coma afterwards.
