Burgers are stacked! Got the Belly Burger and it was amazing. Good buns toasted and perfectly cooked meat if asked for medium. Mushrooms and caramelized onions get an A+. Self condimants and toppings. Good place for hangout. Price is good for a big burger and fries.

Solid neighborhood burger joint. Better to eat in. Flame broiled burgers are a bonus.

Hands down my favorite place in the city to grab a turkey burger and curly fries. When you visit Belly, come hungry because the portions are huge. If you’re not into turkey, the regular burgers are Niman Ranch grass fed beef and they also have veggie burgers on the menu. The condiment bar is stocked and always fresh. Service is always with a smile. You can’t beat the price, for $ 10 I leave pleasantly stuffed every time, though I’m still hoping that one day I’ll have enough room for ice cream($ 1.89 for a scoop). If you head there on a warm day, the outdoor seating section in the back is a nice treat.

Good for the value. There is also a nice variety on the menu. I really liked the toppings bar and that it includes pineapple! They also have vegetarian options which is a plus. Standard, reliable place for good eats. Not much more to say. It’s not five stars because there is nothing too stand-out about it. I suppose if they had more exciting vegetarian options or something particularly outstanding it would be five stars.

Belly serves solid burgers with a «toppings» bar(really, lettuce, tomato, onions, etc). Their burgers are cooked fresh which is good but can also take a little time — this definitely is not fast food. They offer a number of other paid toppings(avocado, bacon, cheese, etc) but a standard burger will run you $ 8 which is on the pricey side but the burgers are big and quality. I also love that they have curly fries.

If you want a no frills type burger joint, this is your place. My burger came as a medium, so I’ll probably ask for medium rare the next time. Condiments and toppings bar to build your burger with the standard lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc. A good neighborhood spot if you just want to get the job done.

Just ordered 3 bacon cheeseburgers to go, Basically the only positive I can offer is that the bacon and cheese covering the burnt excuse for a patty, that was probably reheted from yesterday, made it somewhat edible. Topping bar is a joke too. I’ve lived in this neighborhood for years, and this was my first time trying Belly. Won’t be gong back.

Slightly above average burger place. I definitely did enjoy that it was grilled and not on a flat top. A lot of people rave about the condiment bar but really if I’m paying you that much for a burger I kind of expect you to build it for me. Will I go crazy and take extra lettuce or pickles? You know I would prefer you finish my burger and if I want extra pickles i will ask. That’s not a major gripe just an observation. A gripe is the fries. Are these frozen potatoes? I hope not. I’m sure it is less expensive to buy a fresh potatoes and cut it up. The place is super clean which I appreciate in restaurants in the city and the service was ok. I will probably return to try something new if i am I the neighborhood but after I’ve tried other spots.

I had the Belly Burger. It was pretty good, but a few things were lacking. Pros: –the toppings bar is pretty nice. I wish more burger joints provided this –cheese, grilled onions, & bacon were nicely cooked and nice and gooey. this was probably the highlight of the burger –burger meat had a nice grilled flavor –free soda refills –solid price point –back patio with outdoor seating Cons: –burger meat was well done… I didn’t specify how I wanted it cooked though –bun wasn’t terrible, but too dry for me –french fries were nothing to write home about I would(and probably will) come back.

What a great place! My wife and I decided to escape the Sacramento heat with our kids by heading to Ocean Beach in the City. After playing on the beach and a hike down to the cave in the Sutro Bath ruins we decided to grab something to eat before hitting the road for the long ride home. We decided to go to Belly Burgers(we might have stopped there in the past, we can’t really remember). We arrived and ordered a couple of burgers, orders of fries(sweet potato and garlic), and drinks. The burgers are niman ranch beef with an option to «upgrade» to Kobe beef. I ordered one of each. We all enjoyed our meal. I was surprised how thin the patties are, but maybe it’s because I’ve gotten used to the monster patties you get when you order at burger joints. Anyway, the cashier(possibly owner) was fantastic. Checked in on us several times to sure we had everything we wanted. And later when our 3 year-old threw down with an epic tantrum over ice cream, the cashier came over with a free bag of popcorn. We will be back.

We were craving a burger after a long hike and usually, we’d end up at Roam, but decided to try something new. I Unilocaled for all natural burgers and this place sounded perfect(especially because it’s near my apt haha). I decided to order the avocado cheeseburger and upgraded to a combo(+fries and a fountain or bottle drink) for only $ 2.95 more. The burgers were on the thin side and could have had a bit more flavor to it, but the brioche bun was so soft and you can add as many toppings as you like at the condiments bar. The burger and curly fries definitely hit the spot. The man working was really nice too. I’ll be back next time I’m craving a burger and don’t want to make the trek all the way to Roam or Super Duper.

I crave this place and come here at least a few times a month. The owners always looks so happy to see us and genuinely take such pride in their business(and for good reason). If you’re in the Richmond and craving a perfect burger or anything else, Belly Burgers is your spot!

Belly burger is a fun concept. Fun and clean interior. Service was friendly. The burger its self was underwhelming. I ordered the avocado burger but it was lack luster. The Niman Ranch patty was a bit dry and flavorless. The brioche bun was a bit on the dry side as well. I wish they could offer some different spreads, maybe a chipotle mayo or basically anything with some flavor. I might give this place another chance if I’m in the area again.

3.5 I’m my previous life, I would eat a burger fairly regularly, or as cravings hit. As of recently. I’m doing my best to carve out red meat to once a week. So as you can imagine, when I have a burger it better be legit. Belly Burgers has a lot going for them. They have parking, clean facilities, attentive staff, plenty of condiment options, fresh meat and amazingly soft brioche buns. YES, the buns make the burger in this case. The only issue I have is the meat. Pretty big piece to the burger equation, right? I ordered the mini burger combo, and my patty was drowning in the brioche bun. If they could somehow get these 2 items to be more equal in size, Belly Burger would be winning. I don’t want extra bread, and I want a mini fatty burger ok? The gentleman behind the counter was very attentive, and the establishment was an interesting mix of diner and strip mall chic. Props to the non fast food burger option that is quick and fairly tasty. Good takeout option for us people in the outer richmond.
