Airport food is usually a complete disappointment however, I was pleasantly surprised by how good the salmon tacos with mango and papaya salsa were! My only caveat is the filling(cabbage and salsa) which was so heavy it made the tacos difficult to eat. So I tossed half of it aside. Overall great food tho!

All I can say is that the chipotle shrimp tacos are nasty! Lots of shrimp but the worst chipotle sauce I’ve ever tasted.

It was late, almost midnight in Feb. We planned to eat Japanese food. However, they sold out Ramen and chicken wings. We wanted to eat something warmer, so we entered Andale Mexican Restaurant and ordered Chipotle Sauce Burito. OMG, it was yummy. First time tried this restaurant one, we love it…

Last stop for Mexican on your way to Asia! Andale’s in Los Gatos had always been one of my favorite stops for good quality Mexican food and so I was happy to find it also in the United/ANA side of the international terminal at SFO. I’m frequently flying to the APAC region where Mexican food just simply doesn’t exist, so this has become my ceremonial last stop. Besides, the United lounge in SF isn’t that great. This is a very stripped down version of the original restaurants, but you can still get some nice grilled meats in a few different combinations. They have also added some more traditional breakfast items to the menu for the Airport which are good, but a bit heavy before a long flight for me. The environment is also great and they have it mixed in with a nice Sports Bar section, but good luck on using your mobile phone. There is no cellular signal and the WiFi is a joke. If I would make one recommendation to the owners to improve business, it would be to put in a private high speed WiFi or LTE relay. So, like Mexican food and flying to Asia? I’ll see you here!

The worst so-called breakfast burrito ever. The only thing I can taste is big chunks of potato. Looks like Chorizo sausage but tastes like nothing. $ 10 for a soft taco full of bland paste … yummy.

I like their other location, in the international terminal, better; but this spot isn’t too bad. They have the same selection, it’s just in a food court(and no bar co-located). The food is fairly pricey, but the portion sizes are big. I was hankering for the nachos, after not having that on the way out, so had that on my way back. The nachos were good(and certainly look beautiful), but their burritos are even better!

Their breakfast burrito(egg, chorizo, cheese, potatoes, salsa…) tasted just fine and was filling enough to hold me over all the way to Orlando.

Hands down the best tacos you will ever find at an airport eatery. If you’re flying out of the Virgin America/American terminals do yourself a favor and come stop by for some delicious Mexican food. I order the same thing whenever I fly, steak tacos with salsa, onions, and cheese — then I mosy on over to the salsa bar and get the green hot sauce and if you’re lucky they will have hot habenero sauce to put on top of the tacos. Pricey — my order with a water bottle costs about $ 20, but it’s worth it because I love their food.

I came here to eat before my next flight, so this was my first time not only in this airport but also to this restaurant. It just smelled so good from afar, and in between a bakery café and a brick oven pizzeria, this place was easy to spot out. The service is very fast, waited approximately 5 minutes for my food. And you can see it being prepped which is always nice. The cashier is helpful in making your decision on what to order especially if it’s your first time. I ordered the grass fed beef fajitas that comes fully loaded with toppings to put atop of your fajitas. From guacamole to fresh pico de Gallo. The pickled jalapeños with carrots are so good! Along with the toasted salsa. I’d highly recommend everyone to give this place a chance. Very filling for your money;) I give it 4⁄5 simply because the tables where you can go eat were dirty, not sure if it’s the responsibility of the restaurant to upkeep or the airports’. But that’s the only reason they lost a star.

Before getting on our flight, Stephanie S. and I decided to grub at Andale since we probably won’t find any Mexican food in Japan or Taiwan. Chips with salsa/guacamole and a breakfast burrito ended up costing $ 19. Whoa! Airport restaurants sure know how to jack up prices for mediocre food. My biggest complaint was how long it took for the burrito to come out. 20 – 30 minutes after we sat down, we completely wiped out all the chips and were almost done drinking our beers but no breakfast burrito in sight. The burrito was pretty bland and super oily… yikes! I thought andale means«hurry up!» Apparently not at this restaurant?

Andale was definitely a Meh. I’ve experienced much better Mexican food, although it is in a airport that doesn’t matter. Burritos from Gas Stations has been better than this place. LOCATION: It’s obviously located in the terminals inside the airport, but what makes pretty cool is if your terminal is located in 3, this little restaurant is right near everything with a nice seating area. It would be hard for someone to really miss their flight or just simply not hear their flight boarding. SERVICE: The service was terrible, while I’m ordering the manager and the employee is having a conversation about something irrelevant. Had to say my order several times before they took it down. When I said thank you, which i said loud enough and two times, I was unable to get a smile and you’re welcome back. smh… FOOD: The food was definitely meh, and the said thing is I ordered a supreme burrito and it looked more like a regular burrito than anything. I probably only got 4 very large pieces of beef, and the rest was just cheese, and beans. Couldn’t even taste the rice! i was just really displeased with this burrito and their service!

Holy… THISPLACEISGARBAGEFOOD. the food was so horrible and the cashier and cooks were so confused. I got the veggie burrito and it tasted like chemicals. It was 100% the worst burrito I’ve ever had.

Decent choice in Terminal 3 for burritos and other Mexican-themed fare, whether the egg-based breakfast variety or more diverse choices the rest of the day. Everything comes with a small pouch of nachos too. Pricing is slightly over the top, as is to be expected for an airport outlet, but you could do far worse at other stands at this very food court.

Stopped in for a quick bite. I had the Carnitas tacos and an ice cold Mexican coke. The tacos were delicious. The Carnitas were not greasy and they were tender. The tortillas were not stale nor cold like other places that serve«tacos». Prices were not bad either considering how much more other places gouge you at the airport.

I tried to hire Andale to cater a memorial event at the SFO Airport Museum. Claudia from Andale was hard to reach, seemed unaware that Andale does catering until she checked with her manager. Red Flag. She agreed to meet me last week at the Museum. It took me an hour to drive to the airport. She doesn’t show up at the Museum and no phone call to cancel. I waited for 20 minutes, tried to reach her on her phone. I fired her and Andale on the spot. They lost $ 3,000 in business. Totally unreliable, flaky people who wasted my time and added stress to an event that happens in a few days. I have nothing but contempt for Andale.

I used to love this spot at the airport but this time was just, for lack of a better word, gross. They give you a good portion but when it’s bad does it matter? I’ve had the breakfast burrito which is great. The nachos are typically good and the quesadillas. Today it was the beef quesadilla. Lots of beef but it was chewy and tough so it was a disappointment. The cheese was just off and because of the pico/salad it was all wet when I say to eat it. Then there was the guacamole, I love guacamole and this was something else. Runny. Don’t even get me started. The staff is always nice and quick which is a plus but today everything was just off. I’m not sure I’ll come back, maybe

Got the supremo burrito. It’s missing a word in its name; it should be called the supremo blando burrito. No flavor whatsoever. Thank god they have a salsa bar with a decent salsa. Otherwise? Most tasteless calorie bomb ever. Do not recommend.

Great option for airport food. Recommend the burritos vs getting tacos. My husband’s tacos were small and even a little dry. I got pork in my burrito and it was delicious. I was sufficiently full for my red-eye flight back to the East Coast!

The quick and dirty: Ambiance: it’s an airport Service: fast, friendly, knowledgeable Food: some vegan. Fresh and flavorful, could be deemed by some to be on the spicier side but duh! The long drawn out: Pre-vegan days, Andale was the highlight of coming to SFO for fresh Mexican food. Since being vegan I see things in a different light but not Andale. It’s always there, steadfast to satisfy my hankering for Mexican. It was barely 9 am so I wasn’t sure if they would serve lunch but I was really hoping they would. I asked the sweet lady behind the counter if it was too early. She gave me that awesome, friendly«oh please, no» look I had hoped for. I asked her if the burrito on the vegetarian menu could be made vegan. Before I knew it, today’s selection was a mixed veggie burrito and a side of guac. I schlepped over to the salsa bar to get some free salsa and pickled jalapeños — yummy, free stuff! I stood to the side to try and watch the prep being done to see if anything would keep me from eating and gladly they appeared to do me right — left out the cheese and everything. The taste wasn’t a disappointment, everything seemed fresh and flavorful so I have no complaints. I’ll be back!

I have been coming here consistently when I have a break in SFO. I keep coming back because it’s clearly the best fast food option in this terminal. You get huge chunks of avocado, a salsa bar, fresh veggies, and delicious cheese. It’s perhaps not a four star restaurant in the greater scheme of Mexican restaurants(although it’s close), but it certainly deserves four stars in light of your other fast food options in SFO. While I don’t recommend the burritos; I’ve had the chicken salad and the steak tacos and they were both very delicious. Just don’t forget to jazz up your plate with some salsa, cilantro, or onion from their salsa bar.
