Amazing Flowers

Very nice ppl when I was there. They helped me picked out a funeral arrangement last month. Finding the arrangement was very important, because it was for someone that is very dearly to me.

This flower shop has recently changed business owners, and you can feel the difference! The window displays are inviting and the arangements quick, custom-​made, and fresh! The new owners are a husband and wife team. I learned that they were donating 20% of their Easter pre-​sales to churches and other non-​profits. Bottom line: I felt welcome & the people were nice.

When I entered the store the lady behind the counter did not even lift her head. After taking the extra 20 seconds to walk around the store she still did not acknowledge my presence. I asked her for help after which she curtly answered my questions and was about to leave until I said that I seriously needed a bouquet for a birthday dinner I was attending.
She asked my budget and picked the bouquet for me… no questions, just looked at me for any time of agreement. Once my head started its initial nod, she started wrapping it up. I asked to pick it up after shopping for the gift, she sternly said: «Pay now» to reserve the flowers.
An hour later I returned to get the flowers and I could find no glimmer of recognition in her eyes — after repeating myself a few times she asked for my receipt and gave me my flowers.
Although she wasn’t overly rude… the rather expensive prices for what you get plus the «whatever» attitude doesn’t make me want to return again even if it’s convenient.

The flowers here aren’t great, and the lady who «helped» me chose what flowers i should get despite the fact that I told her I wanted carnations. I think she was trying to unload the flowers that no one bought onto me. I don’t like how much she had to pressure me into getting some crappy flowers. I hope it isn’t like this all the time. I’m totally never gonna go back to this florist again.

I needed some flowers for an event, but didn’t feel like going through the bullshit involved with going to a florist and consulting someone who would probably try to upsell and charge me way more than I wanted to pay. Besides, I don’t have time for that kind of stuff these days. So I ordered online with Amazing Flowers and recognized that I might have to settle for mediocrity. I was SO pleasantly surprised with the beautiful arrangements. It’s not exactly in my hood, so I can’t say whether I’d bother schlepping out to use their services in person, but I’d order their goods for delivery anytime!

And a ticket for a Century movie!
«Just because» was the reason I last bought flowers for someone. Occasionally I get the crazy idea to do a good deed, or say something nice, or pay the bridge toll for the car behind me. Those feelings are quick to pass though, and it’s back to looking out for #1. So a lot of «just because» moments never see the light of day because they weren’t acted upon.
Located in the Stonestown mall, Amazing Flowers is convenient for «just because». The store isn’t cluttered, but they have a lot of stuff packed into a small area. The people behind the counter are quick to offer assistance, but are chill if you just want to browse. The last few times I’ve gone to this store, «dudes» have helped me with my purchase. I hesitate only slightly when these guys help me. I mean, they don’t seem like the type of fellas to be creative with flowers, but yet it works because I often walk away content with my purchase.

Beautiful assortment of flowers for all occasions! It can be pricey but worth it if you want something gorgeous! I just like going in to see what they have and smelling the flowers!
