Adam is the best!!!
I’ve been in the city for 4 years now and have gone from hair dresser to hair dresser all over town (What a floozy!). I must say Adam listens to what you want, and does an amazing job! My bangs were perfect. Like, not wait a week then they are good, but perfect!!! I’m so excited to go back this week! I think I’ve found the one you guys! No more searching! Adam is great!

Adam has been my stylist for 4 years now. I went to him on several recommendations and I have to say that I have never been disappointed. He does an impeccable job and has amazing attention for the smallest details. Adam is incredibly down to earth and easy going and doesn’t hesitate to do what’s best for your hair as opposed to just getting you in an out. If you are looking for a stylist that you will keep for life, look no further than Adam Q!

One of the most difficult things to find when moving to a new city is a great hair stylist. So, I let fellow Unilocalers guide me and am so thankful that I did. Adam is probably the best stylist I’ve seen (and I’ve been around for a looooong time). He takes his time, listens and acts with complete professionalism. My hair grows in a way that most stylists have found difficult to handle — not Adam! The first cut was great and they’ve simply gotten that much better since he’s become more familiar with my hair. Highly recommended!

I’ve been going to Adam since he began his career in hair and he is wonderful. He always listens to his customers input and gives great advice on the styles and colors that would be complimentary for you. He is always on time and very professional with very reasonable prices. Bottom line, Adam gives great hair.

so people never really commented that much on my haircuts other than «oh, i see you got a haircut…» until adam q cut my hairs. that first day 5 people told me how great not only the cut was, but how totally hot it made me look.
plus he’s super hot himself.

I go out to clubs/​bars several times a week and needed a trendy haircut. I’ve been searching for a perfect hair-​stylist for 1.5 years and had stylists charge me $ 130 for a cut, and even though they weren’t bad, none of those stylists were as good as Adam! He’s very skillful, fully on-​top of all of the latest hair trends and cool styles, always listens with attention, and the best part — he’s always up to the challenge and exceeded my expectations every time I throw a challenge at him, or want a new style.
I recommended Adam to all of my friends and several of them are now his regular clients. Thanks to Adam I get compliments on my haircut several times a week now…
And besides all of the Adam’s great qualities as a hair-​stylist, he’s a great guy and it’s always a pleasure to have a real (no small talk) conversation with him!

I started going to Adam for my hair styling a few months ago, when he relocated his business from the Union Square area to a studio in the Castro area that was very convenient for me. I already knew a couple of people that went to him and always like the way he styled their hair. Anyway, I was not disappointed to say the least. Adam was sweet from the beginning and really «listened» to what my concerns were about my fine straight hair and what I was looking for. He was generous with his time, we talked about the cut for awhile, then I got an awesome shampoo and scalp massage, then a great haircut and styling. After my first cut I got a lot of positive feedback from my friends (where as before no one seemed to comment on my haircuts). Super nice guy, very reasonable rates – and he really cares about his clients. For Adam, hair and styling is his passion – it’s hard to believe someone so young is so professional.
