ACE Plumbing And Rooter

I have used them in the past so I went back and was given a 1−2pm window for my appointment. They called around 12:45pm to let me know it would be more like 2:30pm and a the plumber being sent would call about 30 minutes prior to give me a heads up on an actual ETA. I was appreciative for the heads up. Then 6pm rolls around and I had heard NOTHING from them! By 7pm I was over it so I called and cancelled. I don’t normally write Unilocal reviews but I felt this was pretty ridiculous and rude.

Quick, I got an appointment the same day, very professional. Arrived on time. Moustafa, the plumber they sent, was terrific. He explained the issues with my dishwasher, addressed them, and advised me how to prevent them in the future. I would use them again.

This is the first review I’ve ever written on Unilocal.I had a wonderful experience with ACE Plumbing and Rooter.
We are recent homeowners in San Francisco and when our water stopped heating, I found ACE through many good reviews on Unilocal.I called at 5:30 AM and the dispatcher said somebody would be over between 9 — 10:00 AM.
After a minor miscommunication, Joe, one of their senior plumbers stopped by. He was friendly, professional, and helpful. After relighting my water heater, he said he wouldn’t accept any money. What a great guy.
Later in the day, we realized the problem was more serious when the heat went out so I called back again. They were friendly and said they could send somebody back out at night (9:30 PM on a Friday). Jimmy came by — he was also incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. We discussed the issue for awhile and I was asking a lot of questions as I didn’t know anything about hot water heaters. He was patient and helpful. He spent over an hour replacing the thermalcoupler. Now our hot water is working great.
Overall, a fantastic experience with these guys. Going forward, they will be my first call any time that I have an issue. Thanks again Joe and Jimmy!
