We have never experienced such an unprofessional encounter. After Catherine Zhang confirmed a 4pm appointment to view a rental unit, I was then informed that she had to push it 4:30pm and then 5pm. We ended up standing in the cold until almost 6pm, when she finally arrived. We were finally able to view the 2BD/​2BA unit that we were very interested in renting, based on the listing. However, not only did we discover that the owner was in the unit the whole time we were waiting outside (maybe she could have asked the owner if we could view the unit while she was en route, since we had been waiting outside for almost 1 hour??), I asked her where the second bathroom was, and the owner said there is only one bathroom in the unit. We left immediately, as we are only considering 2 bathroom units.
Given the other reviews we have seen, seems that ours is not an isolated experience.

Do not share your information with this company carelessly.
Accolade emailed me an application for a townhouse last week already filled with another person’s information– Full name, SSN, previous addresses, employment history, salary information, etc.
Obviously you don’t want your personal information in the wrong hands. And in this case the wrong hands are the people you are entrusting it with in the first place.
I immediately contacted the other applicant directly so he was aware of the incident and could contact Accolade to get it resolved. I also contacted Accolade to inform them of their dangerous error. Accolade never responded to me.
When the other applicant confronted Accolade, he says, «she tried to accuse you of lying (and fraud), then blamed it on malware, then an intern, and then finally admitted to it being „human error“.»
Consider yourself warned.

I can verify the story about the way they treated a person’s confidential information. I wouldn’t ever do business with these people.
On top of that, they obviously tried to astroturf their Unilocal reviews. Take a look at all the filtered reviews that were obviously written by the company or their friends, as they mostly use stock photos for their user photos.

This company is very unprofessional. They offered to help find tenants for my rental property in Montclair and never even showed the place as far as I know. All that happened was that a number of fraudulent for-​rent postings were posted on various websites using photos taken by Accolade, with someone claiming to be the owner soliciting a deposit to hold the property. They deny they had anything to do with these posts, but it all seems very coincidental. After a month of trying to get my keys back (multiple phone calls and emails went unanswered) they mailed them to me in a flimsy envelope that arrived empty — torn across the bottom, keys gone. Were the keys ever even in the envelope? I will never know. I’ve had to have the locks changed. No one answers the phone at the Accolade main office (the phone number listed on their website), just a recording that transfers you round and round to various departments where no one is ever available. I would not recommend working with Accolade.
