I attended a year long 3x a week class in highschool to learn piano, and I didn’t learn as much as I have in the last 5 weeks (1 session per week) with Monique. Her home is comfortable, her demeanor is inspiring, and she teaches in a way that makes understanding piano easy. The only thing I really came away with, in HS piano, was middle C. Now I can play around 7 songs, and even some using both hands! IN FIVE LESSONS!
Couldn’t recommend her enough.
Location is easy to get to, which is a bonus!

I can’t say enough good things about 88Keys! I’ve been taking voice and piano lessons from Monique for the last three years. She’s an exceptional teacher, and also one of the most kind and generous people you’ll ever meet. I’ve recommended her to several people, and they all love working with her. Also, her pricing is reasonable, and the location near Powell Street /​Union Square is ideal — right above the Bart and muni stations.
