I love this florist shop– they have been in SY for years and have developed a great reputation. My family always uses them for special occasions. From birthdays to funerals, they are very accommodating and professional, delivering beautiful flowers arrangements.

On occasion I get my girlfriend flowers from Santa Ynez Valley Florist, and let me tell you I am never disappointed! The designers here are experienced and very creative. The flower arrangements are gorgeous! Their work always brings a big smile to my girlfriend’s face and brightens her day right up, which warms my heart to see. Thank you SYV Florist! Keep up the good work!

My boyfriend likes to surprise me with flowers now and then, and he always chooses to get them from Santa ynez because he knows I love them the most :) their arrangements are so unique and the flowers are always vibrant! The florists go above and beyond, always making an arrangement that outshines the last. He says the florists are very helpful and kind, always willing to give him suggestions when needed (which is probably needed more than he realizes ;) also, I have been once myself, because I was walking by and saw that they had Christmas décor! The whole shop is filled with not only holiday décor but beautiful home furnishings! I sadly hate to admit, but I spent a whole hour just looking at everything! So awesome! Definitely recommend buying flowers here or stopping by the shop to see all the fun nicknacks

I ordered a bouquet for my mother’s birthday from SY Florists and paid $ 77.00 for what looks like $ 7.00 worth of flowers… Don’t use them… They are the worst in the valley…

BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER!!! My husband had them put flowers in our bed and breakfast nearby (a few blocks away), and paid $ 500. It was $ 200 of flowers at best! Hugely disappointed. The bill ruined our weekend. Please don’t go here!

After having such a great experience with our son’s July wedding, we decided to have SYV Florist do my daughter’s March wedding. While any wedding can be a challenge, my daughter is a landscape architect who manages a nursery, and she knows and loves flowers. She was very specific about what she wanted, but she never was in the area in order to meet with Kathy, the owner, in person. No worries! Everything was done by phone and email. The flowers were SPECTACULAR, and everyone raved about them. People at the wedding were from the LA area and had never seen such spectacular arrangements… from the bouquets and boutonnieres to the table centerpieces and even the flowers on the cake. Everything was perfect in every way. You will be thrilled if you use this florist, and you will love working with the staff. Flowers can brighten your day, but flowers from SYV Florist create memories that last forever!

I brought in a large vase and she gave me a price of 150.00, I changed my mind and asked for a lower, smaller vase so my dinner guest could see each other over the arrangement. It was delivered on a Thursday and by Friday the flowers turned brown, I drove them back to the shop and all she did was pull the brown petals. I could have down that! I felt as though I was grossly over charged for flowers that died the next day.

Santa Ynez Valley Florist handled the flowers for my wedding on ⁹⁄₂₁ and they were so wonderful! We did allllll of the coordination via phone, email and a few Pinterest screen shots. Their prices were fair, the arrangements were stunning and it was like working with someone who could read my mind! Kathy and her team were fabulous and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

We had a table centerpiece delivered Thursday for a dinner party on Friday evening including weekend guests. By Friday noon the roses were turning brown. We called her to come over and fix, her comments were, bring them over. Despite a lot of last minute things to do, I did this. She removed the brown petals, I could have done that!
Needless to say, the roses continued to turn brown Friday, Saturday and by Sunday, they had to be removed, a small centerpiece for $ 150??? Never again.
