Got the 90 minute Romance Package with my wife. Very relaxing and the shared bath in the big tub was nice. Massage was pretty good, although I have had better, and is the only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review. Staff was very pleasant and facility was nice and clean.

Worst pedicure EVER! I’m not big on paying for pedicures, I can groom/paint my own toes. If I do pay, I want it to be nice. The pedicure was ½ hour long and all I got aside from paint on my nails was about 25 minutes of the pedicurist gabbing. No leg/foot massage, nothing. Chairs were uncomfortable and the polish job was not even decent. If you’re thinking about coming here for a pedicure, I suggest you safe yourself the money and do it yourself.

I highly recommend this spa! I’m a major spa snob and I absolutely loved the treatments I got there. As a special treat to myself, I got the«Glow» special, which consisted of a 25 minute Grape Seed Scrub, 50 minute massage and a 50 minute facial. OMG. I just found bliss. I can’t remember the exact name of the person who did the scrub and massage, Shandra maybe? Anyway, she gave me the best massage I have ever had. I used to get a massage every couple weeks and then I had a baby and that stopped all sorts of adult fun. This was my 1st massage since having the kid. OMG. I so needed it and it was perfect. She had good strong pressure and was very open to feedback. The grape seed scrub was awesome to get rid of nasty dead winter skin and I smelled like a delicious glass of wine. Mary did my facial and she was so soothing. My face feels awesome, super clean and hydrated. The locker room was clean, loaded with goodies like shavers, shaving cream, q-tips, feminine hygiene supplies and other important stuff. The steam room was cooler than I like, but that may be a personal preference. The showers were nice and powerful. Absolutely love this spa and if I had the money, I’d be there as often as possible.

My then-boyfriend-now-husband took me here for a romantic getaway when we were dating. The hotel rooms are very comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated, and luxurious. We enjoyed warm-stone massages at the spa after checking-in. Then we took a stroll downtown to shop and grab a beer at a local microbrewery. Later that evening, we walked to dinner downtown, as well. Santa Rosa feels like a sleepy town, but there’s lots to see and do. We saw a beautiful wedding ceremony & reception at the hotel, as well. We’d definitely stay here again and take advantage of the spa services, but the location in town isn’t ideal(loses a star for that). I’d recommend a hotel in downtown Sonoma instead if you’re looking for a romantic wine and spa getaway. Sonoma is way cuter and has more great businesses within downtown than Santa Rosa.

My husband and I both got massages here and were both disappointed with the quality. We get regular massages so know exactly what we were looking for, and paid extra for the deep tissue. Despite requesting firm pressure, it was no better than a rub down which I could get any old place and not pay $ 180 for! Suffice to say, even though they have nice facilities we will not be back.

I had a great experience here! Everyone here was very nice and attentive. I had the deep tissue massage and my masseuse hit all the right spots. They have a sauna room in the locker rooms and everything was well stocked. They were also wonderful in giving my 5 year old and his dad access to the swimming pool while we were getting our massages. My only wish was that I didn’t like it as much as I did… as now all I can think about is when I can allow myself the luxury of coming back.

Vineyard Creek Spa is located off a courtyard in the Hyatt Vineyard Creek Hotel, so most of the amenities claimed by the spa(i.e., pool, jacuzzi, sculpture garden) are available to any guest at the hotel. The spa was short-staffed on a Sunday afternoon, so the locker room was not well maintained and it took some prodding to get the water pitchers refilled, the dirty combs replaced with clean ones, and an appropriately sized robe. The facilities were clean enough, but really seemed to be a smaller and more run-down version of my regular gym in San Francisco. We had a one o’clock appointment for a couple’s massage, and unlike most spas which run a tight ship and start on the nose, Vineyard Creek Spa very amateurly(and inconsiderately) had us waiting for fifteen minutes before they were ready to see us. The good news is that the team of women who worked their magic on our bodies did an incredible job of kneading away all of our aches and pains and bringing about an overwhelming sense of serenity that practically put us both to sleep. They were very attentive to our needs and readily spent more time on body parts that needed more help. It was so sad to come to the end of our session. You know what? I bet that’s why babies cry when they are pushed out of the womb into the cold world! Facilities: 3 stars Service: 2 stars Massage: 5 stars AVERAGE: 3.33 stars
