We purchased a rug here and were assured it was made in Iran. Got suspicious when we noticed the tag had CP under country of origin. Called Unique for an explanation of CP, and were again assured the rug was made in Iran. Over the phone quote, «the rug was made in Iran».
Not convinced we took the rug to an expert who immediately identified the rug as a 200 line Chinese rug.
We returned the rug, and to Unique’s credit they did give us our credit card refund, without a hassle.
