Torrid

I stopped in here on a whim to check out their end of year sales and see if they had any cool shoes on clearance. They had lots of shoes, even some as cheap as $ 5.50! But none quite my style so I didn’t end up buying anything today. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the store had lots of cool stuff. Pretty much everything was on sale and there were some necklaces I totally wanted to get if they had been a little cheaper. All and all though, the prices were good and the selection was fun and flirty. Cool store!

Gave them a second chance, well more like fifth, and the store manager Jenna was still rude. And Emily was awful. Hate torrid SR. I’ll be going online only.

This is the first I have ever enjoyed shopping this much. The staff there is great and you can easily have a conversation with them. They sell all of the styles that I love and they are made for people who are plus sizes, like me. So I look good in the new outfits that I just bought from there.

So I was in town visiting and there isn’t a Torrid near me at home so I stopped in. The staff here as so friendly and helpful! Great for any fat girls seeking new clothes.

Lauren is amazing. She was so helpful and so informative.
In the past I was told that torrid’s bras were, shall we say, more for show than for function *wink wink
but this new line of bras is fabulous, i bought a strapless bra that actually hold me up, what a concept (40DD that’s no small feat) Lauren knew so much about the new line its was great, she helped me find jeans and pants it was kind of like shopping with a really smart girlfriend.
At one point the registers weren’t working and she was calm and collected while she made the calls and ultimately just switched registers. I know from retail experience that can be stressful having the customer right in front of you and not have your equipment work.
I went in needing two bras and left with 4 haute cash… how did that happen
p.s with the diva styles card if you spend over 250 you save 5% off every transaction, plus they send awesome coupons, i used my $ 75.00 a $ 200.00 purchase.

Torrid is now the only plus size woman’s store in the SR Plaza, so with that distinction you’d think they would have their act together… NOT. I have been there 3 times in the last week looking for shoes with a friend or for jeans for myself and every time the service is deplorable. I was there on Saturday where there was 6 saleswomen and could not find one that would dedicate a few minutes to help me find jeans. All I see this women do is sip lattes and look around. They really don’t do anything much. My friend ask for some shoes and the girls response was, «they are in the rafters and will take me a while to get… hmmm you sure you want them» (Ashley was her name) This type of response is not acceptable to me or my friend. I decided to buy nothing after that and the one thing I did want I bought online instead. The three times I was there they were overstaffed and the most unhelpful women I have ever encountered in retail. I will be writing to the corporate office too!
