First time visitor. I was very surprised at how the meal was cooked fresh to order. Good flavor and portion was the right size.

Better than I expected. Take out order took about 10 or so minutes maybe less. They used good looking pieces of meat and did not give too much or too little sauce. Great value too.

Not entirely impressed. The chicken was dry. The teriyaki was not bad, but the meat wasn’t good. It was close to closing time, so it’s possible that it was the end of the day goods. I’d recommend that you try this place closer to the lunch rush if your looking to dine here.

Four stars because I absolutely love the food! I have had the Chicken Noodle Soup, Phở, and Kapoon Soup. All delicious and packed with flavor. Down side is the customer service. They really limit what they give you with sides to your soups. Went in with four people, got three pieces of lettuce and two slices of lime. Went up to ask for a few more, and the owner says its very expensive! But still gave us just a few more. They don’t greet you, thank you, or smile. Food is delicious, but years ago they had better portions and service. Still come here for a good bowl of soup though!

From the moment the almost too warm bottle touched my hand, I’ve been hooked… The teriyaki is sublime. Top three I’ve had, maybe the best, in a restaurant. It’s seriously that good. And the fried plantains? Ridiculously delicious. I mean, eat the entire bad in one sitting and growl if anybody asks for one kinda good. And that’s from PA to CA.

Solid Laos food. Came here with my fam and we ordered some Laos food. Since we normally eat Laos food at home, I was worried. Thankfully, they didn’t disappoint. Place is small, but food has heart when making Laos food.

Had their pad thai and teriyaki chicken plate. Both very good. It does take a little bit of time to get food, but I don’t mind for good fresh and fairly healthy food.

I don’t understand all the bad reviews, the Thai tea was not over priced at all at 3 $ they gave twice as much as I am used to getting at other restaurants and it did not water down either. The tofu teriyaki was very good and the tofu was fresh with none of that bitter going spoiled taste at all. My fiancé had the beef laab/spicy and it was excellent and a large portion. And the pork fried jerky was excellent as well. It’s a small place but very friendly. I recommend it and will be there again definitely.

Fried beef jerky, sticky rice and beef salad are the best I’ve had in a long time. I haven’t explored anything but the Laos menu because it’s that good! My friends and I will be regulars here.

I was so happy when I found out that there’s a Lao restaurant in Santa Rosa. Now I can get my Kapoon fix! Unfortunately, I believe they only serve kapoon only on Saturdays. I’ve been here a few times and all the times I’ve been here, I’ve only ordered their Laos food like kapoon, Laos phở, and laap. I was satisfied with all my meals. They also serve thai tea so I sometimes I would just drop by just to order the thai tea. Great place, great food, family owned business. Support!

Got to say that this place has the best beef salad and chicken soup in the north bay area. If it’s a cold day and your hungry hit this place up for some good soup. The staff is friendly and the service is fast.

I went here for lunch. It was one of the worst restaurant experiences in my life. When I walked through the doors I smiled and greeted everyone and everyone looked at me as if I was a freak for having done that. I was confused as to whether I was going to be seated or I needed to choose the table of my own or what to do. Finally I just took a seat and there was a guy at the counter who looked at me grab the menu and said here. I walked over and grab the menu and because I have manners I said thank you and he wants again gave me a blank stare. I looked over the menu and decided on what I wanted and sat waiting for someone to come and take my order. Finally there was a lady who showed up at the counter and said when you are ready you can come to the counter to tell me what you want. I got up and proceeded to give her my order. due to the lack of great customer service I took off two stars in the rating. What gave this place three stars was the food. I ordered the phở combination. It was really delicious. The broth was not too salty but rather perfectly seasoned. The steak, the meatballs, and shrimp were really tasty. The soup had quite a bit of noodles in it and they gave me a side of lettuce to put in the soup. I also ordered some pork with teriyaki on the side and it was really quite delicious as well. The teriyaki sauce was not salty at all either. I really enjoyed the taste of the food and really think they do a great job with it. They just really need to work on their customer service because that is what is keeping me from going back there. Before I left, I ordered some fried bananas that have a little bit of sugar on them. they were quite delicious as well. The place has potential but they really need to step up their game when it comes to customer service because as I said before their lack of good customer service is keeping me from going back. Which is unfortunate because their food really is great.

Homemade chicken soup with extra garlic is soooo good especially when you’re not feeling good. 3 stars only because there’s no napking on the table. 2 napkin per customer and eating soup need more than that. Need to request more napkin but sometime there’s nobody at the counter so it kinda annoying to wait for the napkin instead of enjoying the food.

Excited to have found a «hole in the wall» with promising reviews on Unilocal.Since it was my first time here, I asked the guy at the counter his opinion on what was good — telling me that everyone orders different things didn’t really help me decide… Took a chance and tried the peanut butter chicken since I read another Unilocaler thought it was good. It arrived on a generous bed of rice with a few vegetables. The chicken was tender but it was simply coated with what seemed like a peanut butter satay sauce served out of a jar from the supermarket. Definitely left me wishing I had ordered something else… Also ordered the iced thai tea — it was amazing! The best version of it that I have tried. Usually thai iced teas become watered down and tasteless — this was not the case. It kept its strong, powerful taste even when some of the ice had melted. And for the price, it was a very generous serving of it. If I am in the area again, I’ll come for the thai tea only…
