This place surpassed my expectations. Cause of the location, I always avoided going. This is my second time going. I must say that the sushi is mouthwatering and flavorful. The pricing is inexpensive for great sushi. I got crunch roll #2. One thing I did notice was the description on them menu can differ from what they bring you. Make sure to ask if anything additionally is added. On this roll they added mustard and cream cheese. It is not stated on the menu. I didn’t mind since it was delicious and I’m not picky. Anyone else, just ask before. Lastly, the place is calm and you will get great service! I will be returning.

Get the volcano roll. Such delicious fresh sushi and end the night with a complementary pineapple boat. Delicious. Best in town

Went here for the first time on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was fairly empty and the service was excellent. One thing I really appreciated about this place is their portion sizes. They gave you a generous amount of food for the price. Over all very good and fresh sashimi. I also happened to come on a Saturday night with some friends and the servers were super busy. The waitresses were really sweet and everything but they were all over the place running around and moving people to different tables and what not. They panicked a lot and were disorganized and forgot to give us silverware. The food was just as good and everything but the service just very disorganized and inattentive. I just feel like it’s not their fault because they seem to have no prior experience. Though I have faith that their service will improve as they get more practice and experience. Overall the food was a 4.5 out of 5 Service 2 out of 5 Restaurant setting was a 4 out of 5

Why is there mustard on the sushi? The place seemed promising, so we have it a try. The restaurant was clean. The waitress was friendly. We order the bento box and a couple rolls. The bento box was tasty. But I couldn’t understand for the life of me why they would put mustard on sushi.

So I went back. The place has been renovated and is nice. This time I ordered off the roll menu which is extensive but also has pictures which make it helpful. The food was good and the service was excellent. Still not my favorite but perfectly adequate.

We came in when I’ve been here before and the food wasn’t very appealing the maguro tasted too fishy and the salmon had its skin still on it, also the green dragon roll didn’t have enough fried shrimp in it at all we won’t be coming here again in the future and my family loves Sakio is so much better.

My f a v o r i t e sushi place EVER. It’s cheaper but with larger servings than most other restaurants. They also have great vegetarian options that are customizable– which is hard to find in some comparable places. Not only that– but for less than 2 bucks you can add miso soup and a house salad. I love this place.

We found this sushi spot on accident but I’m so glad we did! Best deep fried CA roll I’ve ever had. It had cream cheese, crab & avocado. It was super delicious! I will definitely be getting lunch from here again.

Service was good, came in right after they opened. Good sushi choices, I like the menus that have pictures so you can get a better idea on what your ordering. To bad they don’t have oysters but the food was delicious. I will be coming back!

Billy is the top chef! This place is a must try if you find yourself in the Santa Rosa area. They have amazing rolls, delicious bento boxes and don’t get me started on the Oreo. AND they are open Sundays. It’s a dream come true. Check them out today — you won’t regret it.

Sigh. I see other Unilocalers giving this place high ratings and I wish I could do the same. I would give this place 3 stars but knocked it down 1 for my experience. I ordered the«Princess Roll». On the menu it says it come with«Salmon and Avocado on top and Shrimp Tempura inside» When I got the roll, I took a bite and felt sick already. I looked at the sushi and saw that there was cream cheese and mustard on it. 1) I hate cream cheese. 2) I hate mustard. I asked our waitress if they might have mixed up our rolls and she said no and that everything was brought out correctly. I showed her how on the menu that the princess roll isn’t supposed to have cream cheese in it. Her answer was that although it doesn’t say it on the menu, there’s supposed cream cheese. What. I really didn’t understand. And they just randomly added mustard sauce on top. like. if I order something from the menu, I expect it to have only whatever listed in/on the roll. It felt really awkward at that moment so I was like uh. it’s okay then I guess. But what if I was allergic?! Lol could have been bad :/

O! Yummy! While passing through Santa Rosa, the family decided on sushi for lunch. We chose O! Yummy! based on fellow Unilocalers reviews. We ordered the dragon roll, I Love You roll, and a bento box. The food was delicious and loved the arrangement of the sushi. Service was excellent; our waitress checked in on us frequently. We were given a complimentary dessert. A boat of pineapple which was a unique touch to the experience. Although the rolls are a tad bit on the pricey side, I was not disappointed, and hope to return in the near future.

I will say that they’re food is good but they have horrible service. Went here last night for dinner with my fiancé. Our bill came to$ 52 and some change. We wanted to pay using a visa gift card that had $ 50 on it and the rest + tip in cash. The lady who rung us up said the card was only letting her charge $ 41 to it. Ok, not a big deal. We payed the rest in cash and left a $ 7 tip. Come to find out that lady charged the full $ 50 to the card! She walked out with a $ 15 tip, I can’t believe someone would be so greedy! Like I said the food is good but I would never support a business that who would pull stunts like this. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know!

Definitely our first choice these days when we feel like a great Japanese meal. Hubby and I have been here several times within the past months. Super friendly service, great food, from sushi to Bento Box, to appetizers. Huge portions, too. Yes, the place is located in what could be considered an «interesting area» of Santa Rosa; don’t let that keep you away. Inside is fairly basic with tables and banquets on the outside walls. Even a few TV screens to help you relax which is the perfect place for that. This has become one of our regular places.

I went here yesterday for lunch with some of my coworkers. It was nice, and their lunch deals give very generous servings for anywhere between $ 10 to $ 15. I got a Katsu Donburi for around $ 12, and had plenty left to take back home since it also included a miso soup as well as a salad. This place is great if you’re looking to eat hearty Japanese cuisine for a pretty low price, squeezed into a tight lunch hour. It’s homey and good in that sort of way, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a special day. It’s just not as flashy enough for that, but it has basic Japanese fare and friendly service

This is our new favorite place, one of the best places for sushi in the county that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Prices are similar to other places but you get ten pieces instead of eight! Love how there’s variety of rolls as well as some unique combinations. Delicious, I’m even a honey mustard on sushi convert. Only thing is service can be a biiiiit hit and miss. The servers are very nice, but sometimes they are a little slow/inattentive.

The place is small but cozy. Friendly staff. A bit chilly outside tonight and chilly inside too. The sushi chef is gifted and knows how to make presentation count along with taste. I ordered spicy tuna with seaweed salad on top. They called it Country Roll. I’d say it’s pretty good. Ordered tempura appetizer. It’s fairly standard and their tempura sauce needs a little bump in flavor. I liked the music. The service was slow and she was pretty inattentive. She only asked me once early on if everything was okay. My tea was empty for 20 minutes and couldn’t catch her attention. Put the empty cup on edge of table but she never noticed. It’s freezing in here and hot tea would help. Trying to get the rest of my order to go but she isn’t noticing or bringing bill. She is very sweet though but service isn’t her forte. I’ve been here almost an hour and checked on once. Three other tables have customers. I would have given 4 stars if service was better. I found this place on Unilocal.Lol Ready to go, still no check or service.

I have had sushi here three times. Twice for lunch and then dinner. The sushi and service are top notch and they are family friendly. Their sushi menu is extensive and the fish is fresh and flavorful. My favorite are the Crunchy Scallop although I tried the Spicy Scallop and that was deliciously spicy with the soft scallop. This is an unassuming sushi restaurant hidden in a strip mall hidden in the strip of Mexican restaurants that is Sebastopol road but I promise you won’t be disappointed if you give them a try!
