I went in grabbed a bag marked yesterday’s bagels. $ 4.25 pulled my debit card went to pay and the lady said we don’t accept card payments for under $ 10.00 then asked and pointed to what else I should buy so I can add up past the said $ 10.00. Wow first of all debit isn’t credit and the people at the counter should know the difference. It looks sketchy in their quality of persons is not top level by any stretch. On top of that to turn business away is probably not the best practice for making profit, customer retention there must not be top priority wow. So my final part Noah’s bagel is far far better and isn’t run by people who don’t get how to treat customers. Good luck with your $ 10.00 minimum purchases and not knowing difference between debit and credit card. Won’t be trying your bagels again.

The employees here are rude. She asked for my order and walked away and came back with an attitude and said«Do you know what you want now»? One bagel 2.75 marked as lower price on the menu, change your menu pricing or just trying to make an extra buck you customers? Go next door to Starbucks 2.25 for cheese bagel toasted with cream cheese. Maybe locally owned but that kind of service I’ll give my $ to big business next door

I was furious with our experience the other day. We ordered 3 bagels and 2 lattes. We ordered single shot lattes and were told they can’t do singles, only doubles which cost $ 4.65!(so why put the single on the menu even?) The espresso sucked, by the way. When the woman read back our order she said, one onion bagel with salmon cream cheese and strawberry jelly. I said«No. One with jelly. And another one with salmon cream cheese.» She said, «Yes, one with salmon cream cheese and jelly.» I repeated again, «There are 2 separate bagels here. 15C, and 14E.» She said, «Yes, I understand.» They then overcharged us, as I see many other reviews reported the same. We asked if she took Amex. She said yes. When we handed her the card, she said, «No. We don’t take.»(But you just said…) We handed her a master card and she held it in her hand and repeated, «We don’t take Amex. You pay in cash.» It was odd. They had a sign that showed CC symbols on the register. When the bagels arrived, sure enough, instead of 3 bagels altogether, there were 2. 1 which was correct. But the second one was onion with salmon cream cheese and strawberry jelly. Don’t you think, being a bagel shop owner, that someone ordering such a combo would raise a red flag for you that you would want to second guess that? Needless to say it was gross and we didn’t eat it. Arguing with her was pointless because there were so many follies, it was bound to continue. Oh, and the lattes didn’t arrive until 10 minutes after our bagels did — they were busy making bagels and taking orders for all the other customers that came in after us. Absolutely awful, horrible experience. The bagel they did get right wasn’t even that good.

Bad service! Asked for 1 dozen mixed gourmet bagels, got home and noticed that they gave me 8 plain/regular and 4 other of the lower end ones but was still charged for what I actually ordered. This was not a mix up as I was the only one there.

The ladies are really nice if you just say hello. However, bring cash or plan to be charged 75 cents to use your card(if purchase under $ 10). Smaller bagels than most Sonoma Bagels and I wish they would put more cream cheese, half of my bagel felt like bread. Otherwise, yummy.

I do enjoy coming here! And I am surprised to see all of the negative reviews. I am a fan of supporting local business. I have always had a positive and friendly experience coming here. I do understand that prices are high. But can you only begin to imagine how expensive the rent must be in the Costco shopping Center. I enjoy the selection of bagels and cream cheese.

We were headed out of town for the day and decided to stop at this location to pick up bagels. I ordered two bagels with basic toppings then moved down the counter toward the cashier area and saw a handwritten sign that they do not accept credit cards for less than $ 10. If the sign had been at the ordering area, I would have known but as it was my bagels were being prepped so I thought there had to be a reasonable way to work it out with the owner. I looked around and there was no ATM in the restaurant and I couldn’t think of any other ATMs in the vicinity. After the bagels were ready, she called me to the counter and told me my total, which was around $ 5. I told her that I only had a credit card. She said that $ 10 is the minimum charge. I offered to purchase a gift certificate for the difference. She said no, and rudely grabbed the bag of bagels off the counter without further comment. I left her store with no bagels, and went next door to Starbucks where I was able to purchase a crappier bagel but faster and with no hassle. I understand that small businesses benefit from having minimum purchase policies, but it should be advertised at the door and at the ordering area. In any event, rudeness is not acceptable to me and I will never return to SVB– it’s not worth it for a mediocre bagel since I can get that anywhere.

Bagel is pretty good! Happy to support a local business but the Service is not great. It’s just not friendly– $ 15.16 for a veg bagel, orange juice(not fresh and cost $ 3.99 in the clear plastic cups) and a bag of chips. It’s too expensive.

Usually food are good but service is not up to par. Am deaf so of course have to communicate my orders via pen and paper. While i proceed to write out my order, the employee ignore me and proceed to wave in another customer who was standing behind and took her order. This is really rude because that mean that as a customer youre not important. After i placed my order employee gave me hard time when she tried to ask me something. I keep on asking her to write it down. She did not for first several attempts and keep on stubborn trying to speak to me in vain. Now after paid for my order. I sit back and watch and discovered that 4 customers who was behind me received their orders first before me. Even though I was in store first. When I decided to walk up to counter only to discover that they finally start to work on my orders AFTER4 customers behind me… Wow that is pretty impressive service you got there. This is reason why I am 2 star you.

I’ve experienced service at this location a dozen times and depending on the day it falls into one of three categories: (1) Super annoying customer. (2) Customer is super annoying and will be given something completely unrelated to what he ordered. (3) These customers are taking me away from my cell phone, super annoying. Let’s walk away and hide in back. Bagels are fine. Good selection. I’ve been overcharged several times but that might be because I’m so freaking annoying.

$ 26 for 2 bagels, 1 egg cheese bagel and 2 café mocha. Coffee drink was sub standard whether from stale beans or too small portion of ground coffee I’m not sure. They said they used a double shot but if so it is a very short pull. Toasted bagels were fine. The egg cheese bagel had thin unflavorful cheddar. We will not be back. Service was not so nice. I used cash but be prepared $ 10 minimum for card usage.

Yes… There is a $ 10 minimum for credit card use… Its posted. You one star people are idiots! Now let’s talk about the product… The bagel. They are better than Starbucks and café des croissant. When tosted, their bagels get crispy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Their cream cheese is good quality too. My wife doesn’t like it when I get the scores garlic bagel… But you have to try it at least once! They also serve coffee and basic beverages too. I went back to Noah’s a while back and their bagels taste too airy and spongey in comparison. The owner is nice if you treat her like a human being… Is that so hard to do? She always treats me and my daughter well and if she has time, she always talks to us.

The bagels are pretty good BUT the lady is the rudest. I’ll spare the details but she was just plain mean. Never going there again just because of that.

TL;DR Version: There is a Starbucks next door, go there. They have bagels. I am all for supporting small businesses. When I have the opportunity to spend more money on a local business than less money at a corporation, I’m going to do it. But this place has nothing going for it. Bagel selection is minimal and odd, place is not well lit, and kind of dirty. But worst of all, the lady working there(the owner?) was incredibly rude. I ordered my bagel and realized there was a $ 10 minimum for using my credit card and didn’t have the cash on me for my bagel, so I asked if she could just charge me extra for using my card. She rolled her eyes at me, told me absolutely not. Feeling insulted, I left. Turns out I had enough money in my car for the bagel, but I was too insulted to go back. I will never be back here again.

1. Pricier than other local similar places 2. $ 10 minimum for credit card 3. Even toasted, the bagel was doughy. Too many other places with better bagels for me to choose to come here based on those reasons. (The less-than-friendly woman helping us didn’t make it better. She was the same with us as with the people behind so it wasn’t just us. She passed off helping them to the gentleman. Felt awkward. Hard to explain.)

This huge rip off and the horrible customer service by the lady that appears to be the owner overshadow the decent bagels. I’m never coming here again. We walk in and order two wine country bagels, one with plain cream cheese and one with garlic cream cheese. Take note that the menu sign clearly indicates a wine country bagel with ANY spread is $ 2.25 plus 0.75. The lady rings me up while an awkward employee who clearly appears to be new and terrified of the owner makes our bagels. 2 Bagels set us back $ 10.60. Are you KIDDING me? I asked her why it’s so much for two bagels and she tells me it’s because we got the«fancy bagels.» When I let her know her menu sign says otherwise she tells me it’s more because we got ours toasted. $ 2 a bagel to be toasted I ask? And she looks pissed because she knows she has no valid explanation. So on she continues to help the new trainee finish our bagels. I clarify that I requested garlic cream cheese on my bagel as they are about to hand them to me and the employee realizes he used regular cream cheese. The lady says she’ll fix it and she opens up my bagel and slathers garlic cream cheese on top of the regular cream cheese and sends us on our way. I tell her we are never going back here again. This woman clearly just rings up whatever she wants because she also doesn’t provide an itemized receipt. Don’t bother using your debit card either because it’s a $ 10 minimum charge to use your debit card. This place is horrible, never again. Please steer clear of this place.

The lady at the counter is very sweet, and I could tell that she had a lot of regulars because she would talk to people by name and ask about their family. I had a turkey cranberry on a pizza bagel. It was delicious

Hold on – $ 10 minimum for using a card? Cya. You should at least have an ATM machine for those who are first timers and aren’t aware of the policy. I don’t know how this place stays in business, there are too many better bagel/coffee shops that accept cards regardless of how much you’re paying. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. The place could use better lighting, too. It’s very dark and uninviting.

Don’t give them your money! I went in there for the last time today. First of all, total was $ 4.75 for one bagel and cream cheese! Then, I noticed the sign that stated $ 10 minimum charge for cards. I told her the lady I did not have cash, she asked me if I wanted anything else and I said no. She walked away and came back and yelled at me saying she canceled the order since I don’t want to buy more. Terrible customer service and WAY overpriced. Awful. I walked to Starbucks next door, bought a bagel and cream cheese for $ 2 with my debit card and was helped by wonderful happy people.

Definitely not the best bagel shop in Santa Rosa. My egg and cheese bagel sandwich was quite bland and the coffee was very weak. The woman who greeted us seemed very grumpy(granted, I would be grumpy if I had to work on a Sunday as well) and the store was completely empty and didn’t really even look open. Also, «fancier» bagels are 75 cents more… seems a little silly.
