Great, friendly service with really good home cooked breakfasts. The biscuits with butter and honey are the bomb! I’ve been going for 20 years and am never disappointed. I like the generous lunch salads and the fries are the best. They always step up to help the community when asked.

Someone complained about the sogginess of a take-​out waffle. If the waffle was in a closed, take-​out container, especially one that contained other hot items, that could have created a moist/​steamy environment that affected the waffle texture.
In any case, I ate at this location today and happened to order a waffle. It was just as good as I remembered – fluffy and flavorful with the right level of crispness. Delicious.
This is a fun, friendly place, and we love it for a weekend breakfast.

Just picked up my breakfast I got the griddle combo Belgian waffle with egg whites and a slice of ham. The worst waffle ever! It was so soggy it was disgusting didn’t even try it it was so soggy! Horrible breakfast I liked it SAMs up until now. How do u sell someone something so bad? Not happy

I’ve been coming here for years. They have awesome breakfast burritos! The service and atmosphere are good as well.

The food here used to be so good, a weekend just wasn’t complete with breakfast at Sam’s. Now I avoid eating here. The gravy has an off taste to it, and the chicken fried steak is horrible. I visited recently for lunch and ordered the hot wings and french dip sandwich. The wings and the bus boy are the only reason I’m giving three stars. Jose must have came by and re filled my drink 3 times. The wings took me by surprise how good they tasted. Unfortunately our waitress took forever to come take our order. The French dip, was horrible. I’ve had better at Quiznos, and that’s not saying Quiznos has a good french dip. I may come back for the wings. Breakfast however will never come back, too many other places in town who know how to make a grave and a chicken fried steak that the breading doesn’t fall apart.

Love this place! Ate here twice while staying at the nearby motel. Décor is cute, staff are very friendly and nice, and the food is yummy! The waitress heard that we had some problems with our travels and she was so nice that she gave us a coupon for a 2 for 1 meal. I’ll definitely be stopping back here if I’m ever in the area again!

Food was amazing. I had the turkey sausage and cream cheese omelette amazing. Biscuit huge and delish. Rachel was our server and did a great job.

Three star because I liked it. But it was «Average». This location is much better than the Cleveland location. I would eat here again. Staff is great and friendly.
However the parking lot is very small and I was backed up into. My truck had to go to the body shop due to damage. But after being hit, that doesn’t weaken my review.

With 2 locations and soon to be at the «Graton Resort & Casino» This is HOW good the food and Staff are! Real cut up potatoes aka spuds, eggs cooked to my liking EVERYtime. and I can bring Grandpa Jim too. HE is super picky. It has to be like home cooking, and it is!
I always feel like the staff Must be close, they work so well together. Troy is a fantastic leader and it shows in how happy his employees are ALWAYS. **Congratulations to Leah and Ashley joining the team @Sams. This gives me another reason to eat at SAMs

This place is great for breakfast. Packed full of locals of all kinds. Kinda in a bad neighborhood but you’d never know once inside. All the waitresses are great and friendly. All the food is fresh and good. They bring salsa as if it’s ketchup. I put a hefty dose on my potatoes before I realized it was HOT but still super yummy.

I went for biscuits and gravy. They were serviceable, but not stellar.
This place is certainly popular! Parking was a challenge, as they only have enough parking for about half the number of tables in the restaurant, which forces everyone else to park on the busy street which also has some no-​parking zones. There were no tables available when I went, so I sat at the bar.
The biscuit in my order was large. I usually get multiples, but this was a couple of times the size of most you’d get. It was much lighter and more cake-​ey than I want from a biscuit, which is supposed to be flaky and buttery. The gravy had a sour tang to it, which made me think they used buttermilk or put some sour cream into it. To me, that was a real off note. The gravy was also grainy and cereal-​y, like they did not cook the flour nearly long enough and tried to over-​thicken it.
Service was good, and the price for my breakfast was fair. I might go back again if I was with someone who wanted specifically to come here, but I would not bother getting the same dish again. Maybe their other stuff is better.

I absolutely love this place. The food is so fresh and delicious. Breakfast is my favorite meal so when I find a place that serves a delicious breakfast plate, I stick with it. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and I have never been disappointed. The staff is so friendlyand then make every visit such a great experience

Had a couple of visits there. Loved the food… BUT!!! I’m a little perturbed w/​the prices for a PLAIN club soda ($ 2.50) & a bowl of chowder (excellent) that doesn’t come w/​bread (&2.50) extra.
I really want to eat there again, but at those prices… i think not.

I had breakfast on a Sunday… at noon. A «Taco Stand» omelet with taco seasoned ground beef and cheese and sour cream on top, and salsa on the side. It was really good. I would definitely order it again.
The place is clean and friendly, nothing fancy.

Obviously the name attracted me to this place at first… but then it was the friendly hostess and the lady who served us (forgot her name, but she was pregnant and beautiful)
Anyways the food was excellent, veggies fresh, good portions and my bill only came out to like $ 18 for 2 people!!! Yeah buddy… that’s about the same price if I took somebody out to McDonalds these days.
I’ve eaten at the other 4 play across town. Hands down across the board this Sam’s is better (no offence. the other Sam’s rocks. But this one ROCKS OUT with their COCKs OUT!!)
Yes white people, its true, this maybe in the heart of LIL Mexico in ROSELAND AREA Santa Rosa, but it Cleaner, Fresher, Friendlier, so be brave and come into Sam’s you wont be disappointed.

Haven’t been in a while (dieting) but if you want comfort food or an great breakfast (oh how I miss their breakfast!!) this is the place! Love the staff here! All great!
Downside is parking… but worth searching/​waiting for it.

We go here often for breakfast and love the generous portions and friendly staff. Extremely family friendly! I love the huge biscuits and have had delicious omletts here.

Great breakfast and lunch spot. We love that it is dog friendly and we can bring our pup on our Sunday breakfast outing.
The food is great. The breakfast burrito is amazingly good and really big. Sometimes I bring half home for lunch or dinner and it is still just as good. The chicken fried steak is super crispy. They have vegitarian options for my lovely better half.
The great food, awesome staff, and dog friendliness has made Sam’s our number one breakfast spot.

Standard diner fare that hits the spot after a long night of Halloween partying.
I got the Biscuits & Gravy + eggs & sausage ($ 8.95. B&G by itself is $ 4.95
) and the g/​f got Eggs Florentine from the specials board ($ 9.95
).
Pros:
— The eggs were nicely cooked (poached for her. over-​easy for me) with gooey, runny yolks
— Their potatoes were also good with a slight browned, crispy outside and soft creamy innards.
Cons:
— The biscuit, while HUGE (in the pic it’s one biscuit cut in half), was more on the bready side vs. buttery and flaky
— Gravy was more sweet vs. savory.
Maybe 3.5 stars for the food, but rounding down for the service. They were pretty full the whole time we were there and it looked like locals who the staff knew got more attention than we did.
