Owners are changing yet again, but the sandwich I had was just like Perry’s. True crunchy sourdough roll, piled high with meat and the toppings I chose. There really doesn’t seem to be much in the selection for chips or other items, the place seems a little bare. Maybe some changes are coming with new owners.

It’s not named Perry’s Deli anymore. The place is in an unpretentious area and the inside looks very homey and old school. Their pricing system is interesting. You start off paying $ 5 or whatever dollar amount for your meat and then depending on what condiments and toppings you want on it you pay per the topping. I think it’s anywhere from .10−1.00. I can see why that would be just dandy for people that only want meat and cheese on their sandwich. I think it’s kind of silly for me because I love my veggies. I can’t remeber if I had to pay for mayo and mustard, I can’t imagine why they would charge for that. The sandwich was good. Your typical deli sandwich with fresh ingredients. The bread was a bit chewy for my liking. The cheese sort of crumbly. They also have hot choices like tri tip and BBQ if you are craving something heftier. I paid almost $ 7 for a pastrami sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayo mustard. For $ 7 somewhere else I would at least get avocado. I might go next time and save myself some money by getting only onions and lettuce.

Based on reviews, I came here today to get a sandwich. Got the tri tip sandwich on dutch crunch roll. It had to had been the most tender meat on a sandwich ever. Very flavorful and not too juicy so the bread didn’t get soggy. I will definitely go back and try other kinds of sandwiches.

This has been our favorite deli in Santa Rosa for over the past two years, but lately we’ve been pretty disappointed. The weekday staff usually makes the best sandwiches, but my boyfriend and I have always had problems with the staff on Sundays getting our sandwiches right. Every time we’ve gone on a Sunday, both sandwiches have been incorrect. For those that haven’t been there, they have little boards that they mark the contents of your sandwich order on, in front of you. As you’re watching them mark the board, there is little possibility that your order is entered incorrectly. This past Sunday we really wanted sandwiches from Perry’s and decided to give the Sunday staff a third, maybe fourth chance, to not mess up our sandwiches. We ordered our sandwiches: a build-your-own and a Perry’s Famous with avocado. While we were being rung up, I heard the girl at the counter say, «avocado on that one too?» I then verified that only the Perry’s Famous was ordered with avocado. The girl at the register started to go on about how a guy earlier had gotten«all upset» when he thought they were adding something to his sandwich that they weren’t supposed to… We left and drove home across town to discover that the Perry’s Famous sandwich did not have avocado on it, even after verifying at the register and that mustard had been erroneously added to the build-your-own. This being the third plus time that both of our sandwiches had been messed up by the same three people working on Sundays, my boyfriend called to complain and was abruptly HUNGUPON… Today he went in to let the weekday staff know about what had happened yesterday and how this has happened multiple times. They apologized, but didn’t comp the avocado on his sandwich or anything of that nature. We returned home and once again, the Perry’s Famous does not have the avocado that was charged and the build-your-own doesn’t have the cheese and bacon that was charged either. Guess we’ll be finding a different deli and no longer recommending this one. :(

Lunch Hour rolls around, and I’m usually debating whether to go to Perry’s, or something else. Perry’s is super convenient, low price, and has a well sized parking lot. I go here for Perry’s Tri-Tip Special Sandwich. There are plenty of items to choose from, and surprisingly there’s a great selection of beverages. My moto has always been to «Go where the Cops go», because typically the authorities know where to get a good eat. Perry’s is no exception. Even when there’s 7-or so police officers and other customers grabbing lunch, I’ve never had to wait longer then 5 minutes to have my sandwich in my hand. Perry’s does maintain a good community vibe. I’ve never been a huge fan of Sebastopol Rd, but even before the recent Uprising and Modernization of the area, Perry’s has always provided a homely-feel. You’ll find placards of local children’s baseball/soccer teams, and you’re often greeted with a smile.

What a friendly place to enjoy a great sandwich! The neighborhood feels old but it isn’t a ghetto. I’ve had the pastrami and breakfast sandwich. Both were delicious! It says a lot about a place when local law enforcement patronize it several times throughout the day; with small talk on a first name basis. I’m coming back here whenever I’m in the area again.

I’ve been hearing about this place for so long. I didn’t however, want to go here since its totally in the ghetto. Until one day… I was in the ghetto, and needing to go to a meeting, when I found I had an extra 15 minutes and starving. As I’m driving ravenously around the area, I remember Sazon, a pretty ok Latin American food place nearby. When I got there, it wasa PACKED so I decided I didn’t want them anyway. As I gaze hungrily around, I see Perry’s next door! Upon entering, I see nothing particularly special about the place. I am called to the counter by an older gentleman, whom I ask of what is good. A random construction worker next to me says«everything». To my surprised face, a trucker to my left nods and agrees. I guess it’s true! I admit to the gentleman behind the counter that I wanted a sandwich without bread as weird as that sounds, and without missing a beat, he tells me no problem! I order the tri tip, to which he added BBQ sauce and chopped onions, and recommends a side of cole slaw, which I heartily agree to since I have heard so many people tell me it’s amazing. It really was. After eating it, I wanted more, a lot more, there wasn’t enough!!! The tri tip was balanced so perfectly with the cole slaw, it was a match made in ghetto heaven.

The best sandwiches I’ve ever had! The highest quality meats and bread(their bread is seriously DELICIOUS!). The BBQ TriTip with the spicy sauce is amazing, the turkey/cran is off the charts, and their egg salad is the best I’ve EVER had! The staff is so friendly and strives to make your experience there unbeatable. If you ever want a great breakfast sandwich, you can find those here too and let me tell you they are scrumptious! I would recommend this deli to anyone and everyone! If you’ve never been here before, GONOW!

The best sandwiches I’ve had! The quality of the sandwich is incomparable! I absolutely love their bread. Normally, I don’t care too much about the bread but this place has THEE best bread. The sandwich here is just so delicious. I remember in high school, I would just come to this place for their sandwiches. It’s a bit pricey for the portion you get but it is still delicious. The staff are really friendly and this is just a perfect place to grub during lunchtime.

Great sandwiches! A wee bit pricey for what you get, but excellent quality. I got a basic turkey sandwich with avocado and provolone and a small drink– and it was about $ 8.50 total. The sandwiches aren’t huge, which is fine by me because, frankly, when have you known a deli sandwich to save gracefully? But, to give you some idea of what I’m talking about: a regular Togo’s sandwich, I’ll usually only be able to eat half. The Perry’s sandwich I was able to eat the whole thing without a problem. Clean environment(even though I took mine to go) and the staff was friendly. TONS of beverage and chip options, too. Also– their Dr. Pepper out of the machine is good. Those of you who know– know what I’m talking about. You know how some places their soda fountain just is off– either too sweet or too carbonated or not carbonated enough? Well, and I know this is a small thing, theirs was(a la Goldilocks) juuuuust right.

One of the Best sandwich places you can visit. Their Tri-tip is incredible. And they have a whole bunch of sodas you can’t find any place else. My favorite is Jones Green Apple Soda, and their Virgil’s Cream Soda. They’re awesome.

They make great sandwiches; my favorite being the turkey/cranberry on soft french roll. Staff is always friendly and popular with locals. They also do catering which my family has used when we didn’t want to cook for family functions.
